I expected to finish mid-Table and what I have seen so far hasn’t changed that prediction. It’s so frustrating because with a couple of decent forwards we would run away with this league.
Fallen short so far, top 3 was essential and we won’t get there unless we are more consistent and I cannot see the top 3 dropping in form. Maybe AS but not the other two.
We are doing ok. Our best form needs to come after Easter. We also need some luck with injuries. I also feel some players have more to offer yet, I wouldnt give up on McNulty, Biamou or Beavon yet. Also Shipley, Haynes and Burge still have development potential.
It would be nice to make a key signing in January, striker central mid or winger? Any could make a difference although might not be essential. Full potential not realised yet which is a good thing.
Haynes and Burge have devolpment potential? :banghead: They have been in and around the first team for 4 odd seasons and have proved that they are not up to it. How long more do we give them? People are saying that Haynes (and I've watched him too since coming back in) should be in ahead of Stokes-think that has been proved not to be the case in the last few games. Haynes should have been out of the door in the summer and playing alongside his mate Jack Finch in non-league.

for me i wanted top 3 and expected top 7 minimum. so far its going well but id be a liar if i said i wasnt hoping to be best team in league by now. that said plenty of time yet to find the consistency that will get us into auto spots
I have the expectation of the heart - Every year this is going to be the season
Then there is the pessimistic side after years of disappointment - 17th/relegation
Realistically this season - Play offs
