I'm sure many of us have seen the incident involving Cesc Fabregas in Chelsea's humiliating defeat at West Brom. For those who havent seen it, he kicked the ball into a crowd of players who had surrounded the ref and was subsequently sent off. Just wanted to get your opinions on the incident. Was the red card a fair decision? I'm planning to use this for my Cook's Question on Sports Lounge this Thursday so please say so in the comment if you dont want it read out. Thanks for your contribution. PUSB!
I think it was as well. No need to do it at all. He claims he never meant it but nevertheless he kicked the ball at pace in the direction of the West Brom players and referee. And going off your subject slightly but Terry should have walked as well after giving away that penalty
Red card OTT for me, was a yellow at most and Fletcher should of been booked for his reactions which could of caused a meelee and issues within the crowd.
I thought it was quite amusing at the time though, what went through his head to kick the ball in that direction.
