The lesson from the last round of protesting should be that it needs to be one big unified protest. The march worked because everyone united around one focal point. If you're having multiple things you really need to make sure they are targeted and something that will bother whoever the protest is aimed at.While I don't disagree with you, unfortunately if it's not unified action it all ends up looking a bit apathetic.
Now... I can easily join in a boycottbut as Shmeee says, it's us and a few thousand anyway as it is. And if they're boycotting there's less to protest in the ground, so that looks less effective when that happens. Just seems suicidle to have a load of different types of protests.
Why?
Who even cares that this will get the attention of? The media don't give a shit, the owners don't give a shit, the FA don't give a shit. That's pretty much anyone who can do anything. Thousands are already boycotting every game and the hardcore are the most likely to go anyway regardless so any boycott will probably not even be noticed and certainly won't be 100%
I know it's not what people want to hear, but there's shit all we can do right now. If anything this sort of thing probably strengthens Seppalas resolve, we've seen she's more about personal vindictiveness than business sense already.
Completely agree with shmmeee and NW here and have already made my point here and on twitter. While I don't disagree with you, unfortunately if it's not unified action it all ends up looking a bit apathetic.

(Make sure the march doesn't start until 2 and I'll do my best to be there)
Get back on your hole if you cannot even tell the truth then don't bother.
By the way I don't drink more then a pint a month.
Typical lie I would expect from a fisherit.
I didn't post photos didn't boast at all went down there didn't go in so didn't abuse anyone. Joy then came out another door got in car and drove off. So stop being a twat and making things up. Another thing on the two occasions we've been down there as at all games we didn't drink so where do you get pissed up.
No just don't like liars.Bit touchy on that subject eh Ladies?

I have a season ticket.Completely agree with shmmeee and NW here and have already made my point here and on twitter.
1) you'll never get a full boycott and it will just look like apathy. For example I can't see anyone who sits around by me in block 20 boycotting when they have STs, and most them I'm sure won't be on Twitter, on here or on Facebook to know about the boycott. We'll just end up with those already boycotting plus a few hundred more and still have a crowd of 6-7k.
2) it is rediculous to choose a league game in which STs, corporate, etc have already paid and got tickets, plus matchday tickets have been on sale for a while so a fair few will have already parted with their hard earned and purchased tickets. If we're going to it we should do it if we get drawn at home in the FA Cup.
3) sisu don't give 2 shits anyway.
4) I'm much in favour of positive action (e.g. march, ribbons) than negative action.

I didn't agree with the the boycott voiced my concerns as did others but will boycott anyway.
Would they be boycotting if we were not bottom of the table?
The youngest squad in the Football League really need this boycott. Let's have a bit more imagination eh?
Exactly. There still seems to a sense of entitlement that cannot accept footballing reality without having a bogey man to blame.
Agree about the kids and negativity side of itI was planning on coming up from Portsmouth with my son for that game and certainly won't be now as I don't want to subject him to that negative experience. He just won't understand.....
Agree with what's said above, sisu are unlikely to be affected by any protest at Coventry, other than perhaps the press coverage, which is likely to be local only.
The march to the Ricoh is a good idea but don't agree with boycotting as part of protest. People wont go in if they don't want to anyway without creating a 'divide'.
Offices/financial area of London protest, as was done previously, might turn more heads in their quaters. They should be inconveniced by the protest. JS etc won't give a shite about 2-3k less supporters.
Everybody seems to have name called in the past. I think a fair few will have learnt from the whole sixfield scab era etc.
If people want to boycott it's up to them, as long as there's no abuse to people going in and vice versa.
Oh and if we win they can carry on the boycott until we lose
some will be boycotting some won't l won't but will join the others at protest. I missed enough games and at my age there's not many games left in meWould they be boycotting if we were not bottom of the table?

Bogey woman*
tbf, not sure it's entitlement that wants owners that kind of want to look after the club...
so who are these owners weighting in the wings?? it seems some people on twitter say it was mentioned at the meeting......
The entitlement comes from the fact that most fans have never adjusted to our status as a lower league club with middling support.
They appointed Mowbray, Venus etc who they trusted to make good football decisions and then they went and fucked up the pre season more badly than any I can remember.
They also tried pretty hard to attract season ticket holders this season but only 5000 could be bothered.
They are actually better owners now than at any time in the last 10 years (when they were really shit)

Sure it wasn't an RFC moment?Sorry just had a AndreasB moment.
League level isn't so much of an issue if you have the hope things will improve. You need hope. Every supporter in the country should be starting the season thinking this could be the year. That's what SISU have taken from us.I really don't give a shit about our league level.
How about going on the pitch and delaying the kick off... Would get good coverage on sports programs....
That is illegal so we won't be doing that. How about going on the pitch and delaying the kick off... Would get good coverage on sports programs....
No I insist you go firstOK, you go first.
Probably from the same family.Sure it wasn't an RFC moment?
Read his next postoh for fucks sake!!:banghead:
There's a fans meeting tomorrow night at the Ricoh. Doubt many of the 15000 petitioners will be there though.
