I skim read these threads. .there is no way on earth I'm gonna listen to a 35 min interview...especially as our situation is unique and not at all like wimbledons. .
Sorry to be a wet blanket here but our club has gone! Shitzu will not do anything prior to the JR hoping that it goes in their favour and thus embarking upon a mission to get the Ricoh at a knock down price. Should the JR go against them then they will simply franchise the club for the best deal. I have no idea how they will do this but am certain that they are making enquires as we speak. It matters not which group is elected/formed to protest......it will happen. Michael....I have all the admiration in the world for the work which you and others are doing but you will ultimately fail my friend.
The fact we disagree is actually a testament to us as fans. We are not just prepared to accept what is thrown our way and whichever opinion you have it is important that you question what you don't believe is right and true.
I would rather be part of a group that discusses (and sometimes bickers), because ultimately we want the best for our club.
I thought it was a very good interview, the guy talks a lot of sense. While ours and Wimbledons' situations are different, there's a lot that can be learned from their experiences, it's really worth taking the time to listen to this recording.
Gary J...have to disagree with you. Our situation is very close to Wimbledon's, just that the fans are covering their ears and eyes thinking it will go away.
CCFC may as well be a factory making washing machines for all Sisu care. They'll dispose of it anyway they can make money out of it.
Everything they've done over the years points to this.
The Wimbledon scenario dragged on for years before they became MK.
Remember the desolate empty terraces at Palace when they had 2,000 crowds in the top division. As their fans boycotted.
Sounds familiar to me.
