Away at Old Trafford 2007 in Carling Cup not a bad one from more recent times
What is yours??
The obvious is easy but others for different reasons. Night game when we beat Newcastle 2-1 at Highfield Road 1993 and think Mick Harford scored the winner with a header near the end of the game. Me and a few mates went out to celebrate and landed in the Pink Parrot and I met my wife to be in there. Still together with two kids and two dogs, at least some things can be successful as a result of CCFC.
chelsea fa cup quarter final ricoh stands out too
sunny day
sold out ricoh
a big game vs a big team
world class players on display like lampard, drogba, cole and leon best
and most importantly a brief reminder of what it was like to be relevant again, if only for 90 minutes.

I found the atmosphere, and the whole performance, a bit flat in that game to be honest.
Was all just a bit, "meh", rather than engaging.
I watched it at home and thought it was crap. It was basically a metaphor for Coleman's reign, looked alright on the face of it but completely shit really.
We barely threatened Chelsea.

it wasnt about how close we came to beating chelsea, it was about the fact we were in a fa cup quarter final vs chelsea!
i know alot of fans still moan about fair weather fans coming out for that game but a sold out ricoh was glorious to see.
Echo a few of the games listed above.....I was at the 4-1 triumph over Villa & the last HR outing thrashing Derby....
.and obviously there is whole 87 thing....
....but for me, one of my finest memories, not just of City, but of my childhood in general was this amazing day....

...I, along with about 18,000 other city fans went loony tune ape shit.....best Xmas present ever.
The Crewe game was better on that basis, great atmosphere and more Cov fans there.
bit of thread but thinking back to the first prem season we won 6 of our first 8 games ,did we play a midweek game a night before someone like Norwich played, so we were the first team to go top on points for 24 hrs ,or somat like that ?
Day after Boxing Day 1986 at home to Spurs, if I remember it we got pegged back to 3-3 Regis shot towards the West End it came off the crossbar and he headed it in 4-3. Easily my favourite game ever
The "Donkey Kick" goal game - beating the champions 3-1.
Man City 3-2 when Colin Stein made his home debut and the great Tommy Hutch made his debut.
Several games from 77/78, including Norwich (5-4), Chelsea (5-1), Man City (4-2) and the 1-0 win over Liverpool with 10 men, featuring one of the best keeper's performances I ever saw (from Jim Blyth).
Pretty much all of the cup run in '87 - except perhaps Bolton, it was too cold!
The 3-2 wins around different Christmases against Man Utd (96?) and Arsenal (98?).
Sadly not too many more recent ones...

wimbledon away 2-1Memory is fading a bit, but I thought we were top after winning the first 3 games.
I remember the first game was at home to M'boro and then we won at Spurs. Can't remember who the third game was though.......
