Do have fond memories of Gordon Milne as he was my first manager. I also liked Dave Sexton - he had built a cracking young team and was sacked far too quickly. But purely for the memories John and George and a certain wembley visit in '87.
Bobby Gould for his lower-league gems and regular mental breakdowns/passion
Haven't really got a favourite non-City manager, but always liked Steve Coppell, Gary Johnson and until he "jumped the shark", Martin O'Neill. Oh and Jimmy Knox for bringing the F.A. Vase to VS Rugby.

I'm with Torch on Gordon Milne. Happy days when football was innocent and I held all things Sky Blue in god-like reverence, whilst trying to swap 20 assorted Football 78 cards to get that pesky Partick Thistle badge to complete the set!
I have to admit to a soft spot for Jose mourhino. An old school blast of character and quirkiness when compared to the identikit ex-player clones from FA coaching courses that seem to have taken over
With you on this......never did get the Partick badge but did get whole cov team - there was always loads of Cov swaps in the playground of Priorsfield Primary!!!!

See Torch, when it actually comes to the team we do agree on a lot of things. Never really understood why he was so harshly treaded. we had some great players under him. Hutch, Fergie, Wallace, Stein and good old Willie and his wonder free kick. Apart from the one year we nearly made it into Europe he gave us plenty of on the edge of your seat seasons.
