The antidote to a team with no money is to start one from scratch... with what?

There's a pronounced difference between valuing opinion and complying to whatever mindless ill-thought out demands are screamed at them (spend millions on players!!!!!!!! Buy the stadium!!!!! Cure cancer!!!!! It's all that easy!!!!!)

This reminds me of the callers who'd suggest we stop paying rent at the Ricoh and instead just build our own new stadium. Sure, we can barely raise funds for a statue of Jimmy Hill, but let's magic up some land, planning permission and several million pounds!

I'm with you bulldog, but only if we can call them AC Coventry Athletic Rovers United. As a fan I have my say, and if it's not agreed then it's proof that ACCARU don't value supporter opinion. I'll meet you at the new training ground at 7pm.

Haha, best thing i've ever read on this site!!

Its like the people who moan and say that we should leave the Ricoh and move in at the Butts! Muppetts. :jerkit:

I obviously do not know if any of you have seen ,the only way is Essex, or something like that, but i'm married so sometimes you have to do things you really don't want to do.
Anyway if i had any bomb making skills,i would plant it on the set of that programme.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if it's been though a blender first.

news readers who get above their station and start trying to argue with experts. Always want the expert to say "So what would you do? Oh yeh nothing, you don't know. Just get back to reading your autocue"

Mario Balotelli, Frank Warren, James Degale, Ronaldo. I also thoroughly dislike Kyle Lafferty but as he plays in Scotland I tend not to give him the time of day!

Paddy McGuinness for me, I hate how false that guy is. How about Gok Wan or those two talentless judgmental dickheads on Masterchef? I also can't stand JedWard or anyone who has been on any reality tv show.

Did you see Stewart Lee's comedy vehicle on BBC2 on Wednesday? He did a great anti-Paddy McGuiness "joke". He did an even better Moyles one in the last series. As a side-note, this thread really does reveal the damage done to our culture by reality TV.

My contributions: Peter Reid (not just for managing us), Rupert Murdoch, Kate & Wills, Pompey midfielder Michael Brown, Mark Bright, Thatcher (DIE ALREADY, DIE!!!), Major, Bush, Reagan (all the way to hell), and most of all Cameron and his whole Eton crew.

"Well, The Smiths are my all-time favourite band, but I don't agree with any of the lyrics".:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Paddy McGuinness is a cracking shout, he's definitely on my list. Also Peter Kay; Channel 4 have started repeating his excellent first series, or is it a new body of work? It's hard to tell seeing as everything he does contains material from 2001.
