Fair play to Earlsdon dealt with it superbly, stewards that came over (I don’t aim this at the young female steward in the green jacket) were slow and useless dealing with it and as I was leaving it was still going on with supporters having to do the stewards job.

After the game I was walking parallel to 3 (?) lads(suspect having read other bits on the forum, one may have been EarlsdonSB1) and one was referring to having put someone down, when the 3 spotted 'the offender?' held by a couple of police up against the fence (adjacent to Block 14 area). They jogged towards the bloke, but the police ushered them away. Didn't know what had gone on, but assume it was all related to the same incident Apologies to anybody involved if I have put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.

Match Thread - Coventry City vs. Peterborough United Match Thread - Friday 23rd Nov

Fair play to Earlsdon dealt with it superbly, stewards that came over (I don’t aim this at the young female steward in the green jacket) were slow and useless dealing with it and as I was leaving it was still going on with supporters having to do the stewards job.

Yeah, some guy was off his head and went full Devvo. Trying to take on several people in the stand. I don't know why, but I don't think there was a reason to be honest.

The Police thought he was just coked off his tits, but I'm not really sure. He seemed to just be kicking off with everyone and anyone, but mostly blokes 50+.

After the initial fight with some older bloke who I think had his hat stolen by him, I pinned him down and tried to tell him to calm down for what felt like an eternity. The stewards were very slow and even when they did arrive didn't want to do anything. Their attempts to get him out the stadium were pretty pathetic too. During this time he managed to kick some pensioner down the stairs, which of course could have been really dangerous.

He was just left to walk free in the end (pretty astonishing considering he had tried to attack several people) - that's when me and my friends jogged over to the Police to essentially grass on him. Of course he took it really well and tried to go for me again!

I was pretty calm through the whole thing until a young girl got separated from her dad and was crying her eyes out. She could have quite easily gotten hurt as well. I'm not a parent but it hit a chord with me big time.

What happened to the stewards with the orange jackets? Doesn't seem to be many of them about now.

Not sure what most of the temps are going to do, they are only really there to check tickets for a couple of quid.

They are in a bit of a no win situation though, if they had dragged him out of the ground he would be in the telegraph first thing on Monday acting the victim. Personally think they should have dragged him out by his ankles, down the steps and out that bit where the vans come in by the corner flag.

Why didn't anyone boot this rat down the stairs? 'Some' pensioner could have easily been killed. I suppose people just filmed it all on their iphones? Fair play for eventually restraining him, but it sounds like he needed putting out earlier.

Typical, @Earlsdon_Skyblue1 decides to go and sit on the halfway line, known for being an area for families and a more relaxed atmosphere....and next thing you know, it’s like the Football Factory in Block 20!! All this time ESB1 has been covertly leading the Stone Island Brigade on Away games and now he’s decided to bring his beer chucking mates to the Ricoh!
