Portsmouth? How many clubs have done it?
Funny that either opponent in the FLT final have both done it and some, both having dropped out of the league, although Luton did make their way back up to the second tier less than 10 years ago.
Burnley
Wolves
Bradford City
Notts County
Can anybody think of any other clubs?
Portsmouth?
Oldham ?
Stockport?
Forgot League 1.I think the City are the only team to have played in the following leagues, an old quiz question.
Premier
Old First Division
Championship
First Division
Second Division
Third Division
Third Division North
Third Division South
Fourth Division
And will probably never be beaten or equalled.
Regards.
Oxford Utd have done it though I'm sure.Portsmouth yes, forgot about them.
Oldham have only fallen as far as us, but looking likely to join the first to fourth club alongside us.
Stockport have never been in the top flight as far as i am aware
Only league one.Man city?
Yeah they're mentioned indirectly in my first post! Either of our opponents. They've done first to fifth.Forgot League 1.

And won a few England caps along the way, can't imagine that ever happening again.Wolves. Steve Bull almost single-handedly took them back up to the second tier.
Swindon?
So we really are in a race to the bottom, and winning. :emoji_disappointed:Apparently if we are relegated, we will be the first founder memebr of the Premier League to get relegaed to the 4th tier.
This also applies to Oldham Athletic and Swindon Town.

Correct!...Remember Northampton in the 60s they might have gone fourth to first and back again perhaps not one year after the next but pretty quickly.
Always sticks in my mind that Wolves were 4th division when we were winning the cup.
Swindon have recently been in league 2, 2011/12 if I remember correctly.
