These interviews are ridiculously bland. Although to be fair, at least he didn't ask the exact same question in five different ways like he usually does. As schmmeee said, the marketing team do a grand job usually, and this always feels like a massive fail and a missed opportunity to connect new players to the fan base. I'm sure the interviewer is a nice chap and his colleagues don't want to upset him, but I'm not convinced he's cut out for this interviewing lark. His repartee is:
'Do you like kicking a ball?'
'Why do you want to kick a ball in Coventry?'
'What type of ball kicker are you?'
'What can fans of ball kicking expect to see?'
'Are you looking forward to kicking a ball next week?'
I’m afraid I couldn’t understand a word of what the interviewer said -was he from WM or something - but Matty was pretty clear - as many of our team , they speak pretty well and seem pretty switched on
