Just for a giggle - could you please explain how you reach your valuation of £100m for a business that is losing money, has virtually no assets and is in the middle of destroying its customer base.
Please.
They won't.
http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/32873-Pkh?p=476675&viewfull=1#post476675PKH: We are aware of several other sports clubs that have shown an interest in playing at the Ricoh
Unless your apple and Samsung.
when will some fans understand? this is not about the Ricoh anymore. its about destroying ACL. like any good business sisu will need to protect their own business by destroying anyone who causes them to lose money. the short story here is ACL took the strong hand approach while sisu simply bid their time. now acl and its supporters are begging for understanding. ffs grow some balls hoffman, offer 100 million for the club and its yours, but dont expect Sisu to simply let you have it for nothing or next to nothing not even covering the debts.
the 'hoffer' is having a laugh with the 'ill pay the rent' milarky'. fisher is doing the right thing - saying put your money where your mouth is
What Tim, sorry true sky blue, is saying is if you pay back SISU every penny of the made up debt figure and a nice chunk on top they might consider leaving. Meanwhile in the real world there are metrics to value companies and CCFC is worth very little and the longer SISU are here the lower that value is getting.
Surely if as has been reported that this is true, then to me this proves that Sisu are out to break Acl & subsequently obtain the Ricoh for next to nothing.
Regards.
Unless your apple and Samsung.
Excactly.
Just because you pay (or say you've paid) an amount for something, doesn't mean it will hold that value. Depreciation affects almost everthing around us.
PWKH reportedly said at the Trust AGM that

Ha ha find one post where I have ever done that. ..the only thing more stupid than your response is the people who liked it lolThat's a joke considering its coming from the poster who calls anyone who doesn't agree with him "a scab" or "Tim Fisher."
Honestly, your posts almost make me want to side with SISU. That's an impressive superpower you got there champ!
Where does it say Fisher rejected it? Is there a statement from him?
SISU are too interested in the Judicial Review as that is how they think they will get their stadium, when they lose they will have dimanteled the club, thats when in their eyes they win, 130 Years up the shoot in 18 months of Fishers reignFormer Coventry City vice-chairman Gary Hoffman has come up with a sensational deal that would keep the Sky Blues playing at The Ricoh Arena – but he says it has been rejected out of hand by Sisu.
Hoffman, who has attempted to negotiate a number of deals to buy out the owners, is now offering to pay the Ricoh rent for the next three seasons and underwrite any compensation incurred if City pull out of their agreement to groundshare with Northampton Town.
In a exclusive interview with the Coventry Telegraph, he said: “I am as frustrated and heartbroken as any CCFC fan to see the club I support leaving my home town.
“The irony that I now live in Northampton very close to the NTFC Chairman is not lost on me. My kids know his kids well
“I go and see the Cobblers occasionally when the Sky Blues aren’t playing but I won’t go and watch Coventry play their home games in Northampton. It is just wrong.
“There is too much baggage and history and I know some of my own relationships with Sisu don’t help. It is a real personal regret if that has got in the way of progress. What a mess the whole thing is!
“Every party has said that if they could find a way for Coventry to play in Coventry they would. Otium, ACL, the Football League and, above all, the fans.
“In order to imagine a better future you have to forget some of the past. I would like to try to ‘unblock’ things, and I have a proposal. I have discussed with Tim Fisher and his immediate reply was “thanks but, no.” Emphatically no
“My proposal is this;
“I raise the money to pay the rent for the next three seasons. I assume £400k per season as that is the number speculated
“ Otium has to pay nothing towards it. They save the costs of the deal on Northampton (excluding any break clause costs which we would pay too)
“ ACL get their rent. The casino benefits, the hotel benefits. In fact everyone benefits. No losers
“I assume that the attendance at the Ricoh would be at least 5000 per game more than at Sixfields. This is undoubtedly conservative
“ So, 5000 @ at an average £15 per ticket for 25 games. £1.875m extra revenue. Otium can take half of this upside for trading purposes. The people who put the money up with me would take a return to cover financing and other costs. But kept to a reasonable sum. The rest should be invested in the Academy
“Forget the long term for the time being. If Otium want to build a new stadium that is up to them
“I am only interested in CCFC. Not making money. I wish I was not involved. But it is my club.
“I want Coventry to play in Coventry. It seems to me that this is in everyone’s interest. Otium, particularly will be financially better off and the club more attractive in the future
“I call on everyone to put the past behind them and end this heartbreak. What is there to lose?”

Have you seen how much he charges an hourAppleton now saying he will mediate between SISU and ACL, why didn't he do that to start with? Maybe he's getting a bit worried people are going to start asking questions about how the administration was carried out.

Bump into him and then walk away? Weird fantasy.
A really interesting piece and to be fair its very down the middle. Especially comments about his investigations into CCFC and the auditors, could it be he has found something he doesn't like?

you want to hear my fantasy aj?
Maybe the BDO information backs up what is actually in the accounts rather than TF's version of events that Holdings have always ran the club. If it can be proved that Ltd was actually running the club then questions ust be asked of his decision to only sell some of the assets in LTD to Holdings rather than sell all of LTD to another buyer.I think he Knows he's been exposed where BDO have stated yesterday that they've provided all Information requested, while everyone knows certain Information has been withheld ,either him or them in the frame.
