So, he has now admitted that we have just a below midtable budget.

Isn't just below midtable just outside the bottom four?

Are we therefore in fact underachieving at all? We are probably just one win away from lower midtable.

Last season as ruddiculoys as it sounds because the way the season went I still believe we overachieved.
Getting the likes of Murphy Armstrong and the Liverpool lad (name escapes me) was massive.
Without pulling off something like that again then this is where we are at.
Young kids on loans are a massive hit and miss gamble. Last season it was a hit.
What scares me is the obsession with break even. It isn't bloody possible the more you cut and the longer SISU stay crowds will drop. Revenue will go down and breakeven won't happen, simple as.
At least we know why they won't sell they don't want to realise their loss.
They will have to at some point. Also the media attention will get that message across the sea at some point anyway.

Budgets are utterly irrevelant but are an obsession with some on here.

Yep, have put this in the CWR thread:

If SISU are saying it has to be break even, why aren't you and others at CCFC doing your best to maximise the best of the bad situation. Why is there no out of the box thinking on promotions, communication and other ways to make the revenue go up which in turn makes the break even better? It isn't just about buying a billboard or sending am email, if the club makes people feel part of it with the basics then it goes from there. Break even or not, if people feel wanted then they will be more understanding of the situation. When people had to collect their season tickets because of a cock up, what would be the harm in handing out cups of tea and giving them a ccfc usb stick to say sorry to soften the blow rather than the robot way of "come and pick it up".

Need to be trying to increase money in as well as much as possible.

Exactly, if you could achieve it whilst having a competitive team, increasing or at least
Maintaining support and giving the fans something to believe in, then good job sir.

So risking not only the clubs immediate future but also their careers.
By closing the stadium down chunk by chunk, to the point where we must be the only

What came across loud an clear is that SISU do not give a rats ass about the club. Their only concern is for the balance sheet and not having to realise a loss on the club. TF stated that its their objective to run it break even (if possible) and wait....for an acceptable offer. They could be here for years if the status quo is preserved.

Never really heard a person who is really supposed to get the business ready for a sale stating on air that if he were a potential investor he would draw a red line through the club and move on....

Also referred to the fans as customers, blaming them for the malaise at then club and damaging further investment potential... i dont know any other business that seems to believe it is their divine right for people to put money through the tills, like M&S or Tesco blaming their customers for not buying something that is out of date !
