On the radio it sounded like he had a shocker, the comments on the match thread from people there didn't rate him too much.

Yet Andy Turner in the Telegraph has said he was our star man....

Passing was poor.
Ball control was poor.
Seems that everybody was told to pass to him just outside the D and always under pressure from it.
Armstrong pointing and running dozens of times but he never found him.

Don't no about tonight but Saturday was his old self. Could not put a decent pass together and a shadow of his early season form. He's vital to us driving forward but to many stray balls are costly

Think AT has his sky blue tinted glasses on in that case.

I'm one of Flecks biggest fans, but lately, since the game where he took his 10th booking he's not looked interested.

Tonight just summed him up. A pissed bloke in a Sunday league game would have offered us more tonight. Or even Bigi.

He was worse than shite. Hid in the second half. Have to laugh at the mugs who think he's championship quality

I don't think he is, but watch where he ends up. Will either be back at Rangers in Scot Prem or in championship

i can't imagine Andy Turner was watching then because Fleck was shit he hides in the second half of games and whenever he passes it forward which is fairly rare it goes straight to the opposition, I will be glad when his contract has ended.

wherever it is their way of playing will change as he slows the game down and I hope the centre backs have strong ties as he will be treading on them most games.

Fleck is incredibly inconsistent and as I keep banging on, he can be excellent one half and then completely disappear in the other.

The amount of times he has disappeared from matches is quite staggering.

Interesting to note how many opposition play makers we've seen up here at the Ricoh who have dominated all game.

How many times have we seen that from Fleck this season? Any at all? I can recall 4 or 5 games where he has been absolutely outstanding. ...... for one half.

I am firmly in the camp of not being too unhappy if he goes in the summer.

When you look back at the likes of Sawyers at Walsall, he dominated and controlled us for the entire game.

If AT thinks Fleck was our star man then he watched a different game to me. He had a shocker, worse than Saturday.
Cannot think of anybody who played well last night.
Murphy played better than he has been lately but still only 6 out of 10.

For all the stick he's had recently, Murphy probably was our best player last night.

Fleck, Vincelot, Hunt, Tudgay were all absolutely dreadful.

Andy Turner must have been at a different game to me as Fleck was terrible, in my view I would have taken him off at half time.
He was no better second half, am a big fan of Fleck but last night was one of his poorest games ever.

Didnt go last night but had to go and get my son and his mate from coach park as they both went. My son said Fleck was shite but would get mom in telegraph and so it came to pass.

I think his problem is that he has been told to pick the ball up just outside our D.
What the hell can he do from there if the likes of the other 4 midfielders are not in positions to accept a pass ?

We hardly got it to one of our players in their half for most the game.

Cold, wet, tired and now pissed off !!!

Rumours and I state rumours...is that he has contract offers on the table from Championship clubs so not sure if his head has been turned. Doesn't seem the same player since Christmas.

On his day he's a top league 1 player nothing more. We're the ones who have seen him over the last few years, sure his had some great moments in games but never consistent enough to step into the championship even on a free

Whoever ends up with him will end up very disappointed as he only plays for parts of games, he has also lost the ability to pass it forward to a team mate.

I think that's always been his downfall. He isnt consistent. You don't know which Fleck will turn up on the day.

If he was consistent he would be playing at a much higher level.

But worse still, he isn't anyway consistent enough. Fine if he's hit or miss, but nearly every game he disappears, usually as the second half wears on.

Fleck lacks pace, is small so can't be relied on to win a header, has scored 7 goals for us in 148 games, not a great tackler, so when his passing game is off he is liability. I agree with an earlier poster "flatters to deceive" - he is 24 years old, if there was potential we would have seen it by now, consistently inconsistent.

If he gave Fleck MOM then he cannot have been at the game last night. I challenge Andy Turner to state he was at the match. If he was at the match he should no longer be a football writer, as he has no idea.

Like everybody else on here I really like Fleck. For me our player of the season apart from last two games when he has been dreadful. Wasted passes, no energy, no passion and desire.

Perhaps in saying MOTM, he actually means least worst Player.
