Born in 1990, so memories are slightly limited:

3. Beating Aston Villa 2-1 at Highfield Road in the days of Keane, Hadji etc
2. Coventry 4-3 Manchester City, first year in Division 1, what a game that was
1. Beating United 3-2, Dion's penalty stands out for me, because McAllister was injured and I distinctly remember thinking Dion wasn't an able replacement.. how wrong was I, he scored about 8 penalties that season, but missed v Sheff U in the cup because he went the opposite way.

That streaker that ran on and gave big Mo a kiss..

Beating the Arsenal 3-2 on Boxing day is a pretty good memory. With the quality of players we had that season, we should have been much higher up the league. Obviously the 3-2 against United. Huckerby forever sealed himself a place in Sky Blue folklore that day. I always remember Froggatt's goal against Everton, as it was a pure stunner. There was also a home game against Spurs we played in 97, we tore them apart 4-0, Huckerby hit one so hard, Ian Walker didn't have time to see it let alone save it.

I'm going back a long time, 1963 Sunderland 5th round of the F.A. Cup won 2-1 with 2 very late goals and a Highfield Road crowd of well over 50000 as many got through broken down gates.

Then there was the Coventry v Wolves 1967, in the old second division again over 50000 and a 3-1 City victory put us on the way to the second division championship.

And then there's the Coventry v Leeds semi-final, a great game, a great result securing our famous day out at Wembley, that final whistle and realising we had made it to Wembley was pure nectre

Keith O'neill coming on as sub only to limp off after 2 mins

Adebola coming on as a sub after his time away on loan at (I think) Bradford. He came on to the biggest most ironic cheers from the West Terrace only to subsequently pick up the ball and go on a mazy run from the half way line that had everyone going balistic.

Charlton at home in the FA Cup and they had some young lad at the front in a biggles flying jacket that took tremendous grief all game. He took it well to be fair to him. Think it helped that they came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Still a cracking game and a cracking atmosphere.

Tony Dobson scoring from pretty much the half way line in a friendly against Banik Ostrava. Then everytime he got the ball after the whole of the Main Stand urged him to shoot.

The 4-1 away day at Blackburn in the cup a few years ago-Adebola beating 3 or 4 players before slamming it in the bottom corner. Without doubt one of the best and most enjoyable City games I've been to!

Staying up at White Hart Lane. What a day!!

3. My first ever game when I was 6. League cup around 94/95? Home to Spurs, 2-0 down at half time and my old man wants to leave. I told him I wanted to stay and we turned it round and won 3-2.
2. Arsenal 3-2 on boxing day. The entertainers!
1. 1-0 Moldovan Vile Park

i enjoyed fa cup quarter final loss to chelsea more than 2-0 carling cup win over man utd,it just reminded me of the big time and wehat this club and city could be like if we made it to the prem again

I was there and ,along with the cup final, these have to be the two abiding memories for me.

3-2 against Man U (especially when I had it at 40/1!!)

I think you could be in the majority of 1 there pal!

1. Taking my 2 year old son to his first game v Sheff. Utd at Highfield Rd. (On a cold March evening in 2002) A collegue at work won some tickets for the game a gave them to me, main stand - posh seats - I usually sat in the West end. Don't remember must of the playing part as my son was getting very figity, he enjoyed himself playing with the seats. He was in his Cov kit, game must have been pretty dull as most of the crowd around me (10 - 20 people) were demanding my son get 5 mins on the pitch as he had much more energy than the players. Roland Nilsson turned around with a small grin on his face.

2. Was at a pre season friendly v Bedworth Utd. at the Oval, Strachan was manager. We had beaten the 4-0, or 4-1 good game so I thought, well at the end of the game we made over way over to the players changing room to get the players autographs. Strachan was well pissed off with the players. Players were coming out of the changing room all individualy looking like they had been given a bollocking, not like they had won and scored 4 goals. Strachan then came out carrying a bag of balls. I asked him for his autograph for my 10 year old sister in law, who also came to the game. His first reactionwas 'stick the pen in my mouth and I'll sort it', Paul Williams then offered to carry the bag of balls, arse licking, but strachan snapped back at him 'No I can manage these myself'. Strachan then said to me 'Follow me to the team bus and I will sort it out there'. By now a large group of fans were walking along the pitch to get at Strachan for autographs, he refused all autographs - well his hands were full. I asked him what was the problem, 'The team chose to play their way and not my way, We had the skill to beat Bedworth easily, but I wanted them to put into action more of our training.' We finally got to the bus, Strachan threw the balls into the hold, by now we had lost our position, but strachan then stood up and shouted 'Where's that wee lassie' We pushed our way to the front of the crowd and to his word signed her autograph first.

3. v Wimbledon around 1990 Highfiled Rd, West Terrace. We were loosing 3-1 with 10 mins left, I got up out of my seat walking towards to large gate under the upper tear of the West Terrace in the corner next to the main stand. Just as I got to the exit 'GOAL'. I ran back and stood in the corner at the back, by now about 50 others had joined me, glad I did as I witnessed another goal. Final score City 3 Wimbledon 3. I never left the game early again.

For some reason I always remember Clinton Morrison's header in the 78th Minute at Hillsborough vs Sheffield Wednesday in 2006/7ish.

We won 1-0 in the end.

Getting hit square in the face before a mid-week Swansea game from Danny Fox warming up. Needless to say the early birds in the CET loved it...

All my best memories of of surviving, particularly Spurs away, I just want another one this year.

And obviously taking Villa apart at Villa Park

When we played Forest in one of the last games of the season in a huge relegation 6 pointer back in 2005. I was on holiday with a friends family who weren't interested in football at all and we were in the lake district with no internet or phone signal, i was trying to find the score after the game but didn't manage to get it from the radio etc. Eventually managed to get a newspaper the next day in the local village to find out we had won! Wasn't even at the game but remember that day clearly and the little pub we were in when i found the scores in the paper, was over the moon! Strange memory really but one that stands out and is particularly relevant for this weekend!

Fondest memory for me has to be the demolition of Derby at Highfield Road, it promised so much more that has been delivered, perhaps why it hurts so much now?

1-0 at Villa was a highlight but the 4-1 at Villa Park the year later was the most proudest moment for me being a Cov fan.

Took my 3 year old son to home match v West Brom christmas 1980 in the West Stand. When asked by a very nice man behind "and who do you support" he answered Glasgow, god knows where that came from but the look on the blokes face was brilliant.

My favourite 5 city memories would be

Beating the Scousers 5-1 at Highfield Road

2-0 away at Wimbledon. Ndlovu double, we had the whole stand on the side of the pitch full and loads of fans in their stands.

The great escape at Tottenham

4-1 at Villa.

And Beating United 3-2

Has to be the Coventry vs Wolves game in 1967. Something like 53,000 was the official gate.....but there was a couple of entrance gates broken down with the sheer crowds that day, so the estimate was closer to 60,000. We moved all the small kids (hand-over-hand overhead as the crowd was too dense to walk them) down and over the wall where they lined the track....they were only about a yard from the touchline....wouldn't be allowed in today's H&S world.......there was about 50 to 60 fans on each floodlight pylon. Of course we won 3-1 which pretty well secured our promotion to the 1st Division

A never-to-be-repeated memory. Oh, those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end.......alas

I was at that match, was a great header. I will always remember Juan Sara's goal in the last minute away at Forest, we had been completely hammered and deserved absolutely nothing from the match then he pops up and makes it 1-1. Also Jonny Jackson scoring in the last minute away at Crystal Palace for a draw years back after the most arduous journey that was a great goal.

I was 13 and we had got to the ground 1 1/2 hrs before kick off. 1/2 hr from the start we were slowly getting crushed, and the coppers told us to move pitch side of the wall. Sat about 4 yards from the right hand goal post at the west end. Fantastic memory.

Another great memory for me was watching Tommy Hutch completely bamboozle most of the Derby team one rainy Tuesday night. He was always good, but that particular night he was brilliant. Think we only won 1-0 though...

Beating Everton 4-1, on the Sunday after they had been crowned Champions, to stay up. We had to win all of our last 3 games to be safe, and we did.

It was Mick Channon on the radio afterwards crying like a baby cos Norwich got relegated instead.

Man U in the League cup, 2-0 what a night in Manchester

and of course 1987 and all that...

67 wolves what a game what an atmosphere fantastic

dont think i celebrated a goal as much as the luton 85 match when killer smacked one in at the west terrace i was hanging off the fence sheer relief! was crucial to get the win as the everton match was a formality imo, we were minutes away from going down that night
