Former Coventry City winger Gordon Nutt dies aged 8126 Feb 2014 12:27Nutt played 82 senior games for the Sky Blues in the early 1950s

Gordon Nutt and Charlie Timmins at the Legends Day in 2008Former Coventry City winger Gordon Nutt has passed away in Tasmania aged 81.

He was a product of City's youth scheme in the early 50s and played 82 senior games between 1951-54, scoring 11 goals.
He joined Cardiff in December 54 and later played for Arsenal before emigrating to Australia in the 1970s.

People too busy arguing the toss to pay respects to an ex player. We truly are losing our soul.

It is a shame :( Always sad to see ex players like this, I bet he wasn't living like Rooney or Beckham now either and was just a "normal" bloke.

RIP, at least you pulled on a shirt when it meant something, just to pull on the shirt. That applies to all professional football teams not just CCFC.

Gordon, your family can be proud.
