I think that “medical” centre is some sort of religious temple or centre unless it is both.Yes I loved them too.
Worked at the Coachmakers Makers in the early 80s it has just been knocked down and a massive medical centre is rising from its ashes.
Think it's also the largest in terms of physical size (in the midlands anyway)Talking WM and CIU clubs - I think the Willenhall one had the biggest membership in the country at one point?
Has or had its own orchestra pit too.Think it's also the largest in terms of physical size (in the midlands anyway)
Yes it was big, the Edgewick club where our father was a member wasnt far behind in size.Think it's also the largest in terms of physical size (in the midlands anyway)
Could well be religious I just remember planning for a medical centre was given but it was a few years ago.I think that “medical” centre is some sort of religious temple or centre unless it is both.
Talking the supporters club it’s days were numbered when it was kicked out of the Sky Blue stand around the 1980s I think for ccfc to put in its own club which was hardly used other than match days where when it was the supporters club it was bustling throughout the week. ironic thing was it was the Coventry City supporters club who funded the what was new stand around 1963/64 time.
Nice chap Derrick Robins or it could have been his son Peter.
My Mum mentioned a few years ago that Black Sabbath performed at WSC, late 60's/very early seventies.Has or had its own orchestra pit too.
That's a shame, I last went in there for a mates' do about 10 years ago. Thought it was a decent clubYes I loved them too.

Worked there for 4 years in the early 80s worked most Friday and Sunday nights it was always packed yet never ever saw a punch thrown in anger. That's a shame, I last went in there for a mates' do about 10 years ago. Thought it was a decent club

The club put something out the other day about Dhillons wanting memorabilia, wonder if they're planning something. If there was ever a campaign to set up a supporters club near the Ricoh and lay some proper roots, I would be happy to chip into a crowd fund.
It’s a shame nobody can make a crack of the old Rowley’s Green. Perfect spot for a Roost Mark 2.
