Nah, nothing in the budget for our captain, but sign the kids on £50 a week and they can say we tried and look at our intentions as we got 8 out of 10 signed up
@OSB: I thought (admittedly from Football Manager experiences lol) that when a player signed a deal like this the new terms started straight away. Hence I could understand the financial sense if Bell and/or McPake took a wage drop. I'd imagine similarly that Gael would be on a bit more money now (and rightly so as he wasn't a first teamer when he signed the last contract).
What do you mean? We offered Clingan a new contract at the same time as Bell, McPake and McSheffrey. If the rumours from Leeds that he wants £15k/week and turned down their offer of £10k/week are true he probably won't sign, but that brings us back to the old debate of when do you stop throwing money at players and decide the club is bigger than they are.
I don't mean anything. I rarely do.It was just a jovial response to SB up North and using it as an excuse to chastise the board. Nothing more
I was speaking to someone at the match who reckons GB absolutely loves CCFC and will stay at the club as long as they will have him. He has no desires to leave as there is no bigger/better club in his opinion. A religous lad like this I don't think even Cash Money would tempt him.
Bigirimana woooaaaa , Bigirimana woooaaaa
He comes from Zimbabwe,
He nearly ran away,
Bigirimana woooaaaa , Bigirimana woooaaaa.
(just checked out wiki , apparently he almost did run away - hence the reference ! )
If you read his wiki you would see he is from Burundi
