Do you know what I was thinking during the Disney dragon riding scene?
"We could have had five more minutes of Bronn porking those slags!"
Although the only moment of genuine intrigue for me in that episode was Bronn's dilemma regarding being sent to kill the Lannister bros. That's going to be interesting.
.
I bet he is glad they were interrupted. Would have had his banjo clean off. Not even a bit of spit on it.
I dont get Samwell suddenly being bothered about his dad and brother. I thought he hated them?

Also wonder if Bron and cersei will be seen in the same room? I read somewhere they hate each other.
I'm sure he'll be able to Soldier Soldier on.....They had a "thing" once, and apparently she made it clear to the directors she would not appear in a scene with him.
Oh, my loveI'm sure he'll be able to Soldier Soldier on.....
Yes dear?Oh, my love
But the fact he has had many very good reviews of his performances surely tells you he CAN act.The Independent also had this to say about his performance in the latest episode, so linking to the odd good review doesn't change the fact that he's ropey as hell.
"The big climax is Jon learning his heritage, the climax of a theory the most ardent fans of the books will have been wondering about since 1996. Kit Harington’s shortcomings as an actor are abundantly clear by this point, but we have to cheer the poor lad in, like that bloke in the Olympic swimming when everyone else was disqualified. Go on Kit, you can do it."
I'm genuinely glad you and others enjoyed it. I wish I had too. I was giddy with excitement today. Maybe I was too excited and expecting too much but I'm rooting for things to get better.

I am sure this is the way he has been asked to play the role here.
And I just played back the scene again and I can totally understand why it was played out like that last night. It was just the enormity of it and it failed to sink in.
I don't think it was the acting. Would have been easy to do the histrionics, but they had the scene deliberately underplayed.
Made sense to me.
Haven't watched one episode.
I don't get that channel and won't pay more to get it since I'm already paying way too much.
Lots of people seen to rave about it but then again they did about Harry Potter, which I could never get into.

Yeah.Stage acting is a completely different beast to film though, so I fail to see how a few good reviews for a play make his GOT performance good.
Anyone I've spoken also voiced their disgruntlement at the performance.
It's all subjective though innit.
Or they go all Star Wars where the night king is John snows father!I also think you have to factor in that he has a decision to make - does he carry on nailing his aunt? does he claim the throne for himself? (meaning he probably won’t be able to bone his aunt anymore) - then there’s the small matter of the Night King. I wonder if he’s thinking he keeps this a secret (a nice parallel with the secrecy of his parentage) until after the battle. If he dies it doesn’t matter.
I have been saying this all day today!!! In the books it is made pretty clear that only Targareyns can ride dragons which would indicate the night king is a targareyn somehow. Not quite sure how Rhaegar would have made it north of the wall however after being pummelled by Roberts warhammer.Or they go all Star Wars where the night king is John snows father!

If I recall correctly, they never found his body did they?
The Wildlings leader? No - there is also a theory that Mance Rayder is in fact Rhaegar - who is still alive in the books.
The Wildlings leader?
Yes, the King beyond the wall. He didn't die in the books as Ian said. Well, not for certain.
But he died in the TV show so that theory cannot hold much water can it?

Shit episode. Another hour of calm before the storm with boring, pointless conversations.
Can tell they're ahead of the books because the great dialogue you had in previous seasons isn't there.
