Just had a phone call from a mate (ex-player) who told me to put a tenner on Southgate.

I love all this speculation every 18 months or so.

He's 20/1 and I might have a silly tenner tomorrow based on who told me, his connection with Richard Shaw and the fact he resigned from his FA post a couple of weeks ago. I mean, who would give up a "bobby" job like he had at the FA if he didn't have something in the wind ?

according to his daughter mia on some question site she said he wasn't coming to cov a few days ago but was looking for a managerial job
