Never rated him during his second spell and thought he looked poor against us at Scunny away, that said the stats don't lie and it really does just prove how woeful our midfield is.

So a fully fit Reda Johnson and resigning Sheffers are key to our success then, someone has been hitting the mulled wine a little hard this Christmas.

What these stats show is that the standard of this league is as awful as I've been saying. It also a harrowing reminder of how bad a job Pressley is doing.

Ha ha. You can't argue about the Johnson stats, they speak for themselves, our 'best' defender we concede less, keep more cleansheets when he is in the team therefore easier to pick up points when you concede less goals, oh and he's also joint top scorer. Funny really, because if he was a striker (e.g a leon Clarke)you wouldn't even be disputing it.

But no I wasn't saying lets resign Sheff, but it is an indictment of how poor our midfield is.

Using your logic that Jackson is better than callum wilson and leon Clarke, gary mcsheffrey must be one of the best midfielders in the league given he played in the PL and was player of the season (c19 goals/17 assists I believe) in a promotion from the championship.

This league is poor, but so are we. The league table doesn't lie.

What is Bakers and in how many games?

I know they are not natural wingers but Sheff in the left and baker on the right in this league with Madine and a small nippy poacher. We would concede a lot but I think we would score far more.

4-4-2 Jordan at right back. No messing around straight battle with Phillips no changing his position or role. You would see the best of him

What is Bakers and in how many games?

I know they are not natural wingers but Sheff in the left and baker on the right in this league with Madine and a small nippy poacher. We would concede a lot but I think we would score far more.

Not sure on assists but I believe he's scored 4 in all comps in 9 games 4 of which were from the subs bench.

There seems to be a lot of players in recent years that the fans were happy to see go, or at least not that bothered, who have gone on to do a lot better than their replacements. Not sure if that says something about our fans or the ability of our managers to get the best out of the players.

I would say the latter, McSheffrey was absolutely dire in his last few months for us. As was Christie As was Baker

Christie probably sums it up best. There was people on here saying he wouldn't even get another club let alone one at a higher level, now he's a regular for Derby (3rd in the Championship) and an international. Baker as well, not good enough for us, not good enough for this level, too inconsistent etc and now winning L1 player of the month for MK Dons (2nd in L1).

You forgot about the 'assists' they gave the opposition to score. To be fair though, McSheffrey was cr@p for us, never looked like scoring and showed no signs of his old self.
