I dont want to sound condescending or patronising, but after hearing the news today I just wanted to wish you all the best and hope this mess gets sorted out
I dont know the ins and outs of exactly what has happened, but from what I have read and heard it sounds like a very similar story to what happened to us back in 1986 when we had to leave our beloved Eastville Stadium, We sold it to the greyhound company and couldnt afford the rent payments and ended up playing in Bath for 10 years
We were on the verge of going bust, but luckily for us the move to Bath(Although not ideal) was a godsend for us, and kept us going as a football club
Like I said I dont claim to know much about your situation, but do you think their is a plausible way out for you guys?
Could a ground share with Northampton not be an option?
Please excuse me if I am barking completely up the wrong tree here, apologies if I am
Anyway I just wanted to give you my sympathy's as it is never nice to see clubs go through all this
But Gas the thing is we have a ground that we could use sitting in the city, all the arguments about rent etc is a red herring covering the tracks of a hedge fund attempting to get the stadium for nought !
You appear to have ignored the fact that SISU were offered the ground for less rent than the maximum Fisher said they were prepared to pay and they have ignored the offer with a "no comment"!
