Imagine old white people who fought against racism, nuclear weapons, apartheid and the despised Poll Tax ( i mean fought, not from a keyboard) now being stereotyped
My wife was telling me she loves the BBC. Turns out we were on different wavelengthsThe pub attack has also been mentioned on the BBC site now.
Twice he was shoved over as the police advanced , twice he was told the line was advancing . It was live on Sky news , he was being a nob and got what he deserved .
My answer is yes.... yes, the p*ssed up fool deserved it. The second one was the icing on the cake.donk!
They are in riot gear, scumbags have been throwing bricks and fireworks at them. How are they to know this drunk idiot isn't going to cause them harm?
Haven't heard with sound tbf, but whether he deserved it or not, he wasn't really a threat so not the smartest move by the copper, it could've easily inflamed an already pent up mob and encouraged much further unnecessary disorder.Twice he was shoved over as the police advanced , twice he was told the line was advancing . Not see the black fella in M'cr? SimilarAbout time. That was the worst violence on 1 individual I've seen over last few days. Lynch mob
Incredible that a thread about 3 little girls being murdered has morphed into pensioners telling us how hard they had it.
Won't someone please finally think of the most fortunate demographic
Watch it from behind the police line and the footage is telling , he wasn't alone there were a handful deliberately provoking the situation as the police looked to put distance between the two groupsHaven't heard with sound tbf, but whether he deserved it or not, he wasn't really a threat so not the smartest move by the copper, it could've easily inflamed an already pent up mob and encouraged much further unnecessary disorder.

Ta, do you have a link to that. Would certainly give it more context.Watch it from behind the police line and the footage is telling , he wasn't alone there were a handful deliberately provoking the situation as the police looked to put distance between the two groups

I don't have sympathy with him either, I just think that kind of action could further provoke others. But they don't know when a threat is going to come or something is going to escalate. Three police officers were injured in Plymouth due to flying debris. The bloke was a moron giving it large to a line of riot police. What did he think would happen. Being pissed is not an excuse, he's old enough to know better. No sympathy with him.
I don't think they need provoking.I don't have sympathy with him either, I just think that kind of action could further provoke others.
As opposed to his anti- semitism. It seems old Jezza is hanging around with Galloways rabble these days - wonder if he would have been as bothered if it was synagogues?
Incredible you think this is the only time its gone off topic
Still you will get a couple of likes from your fellow zombies
I don’t think the pensioners started itIncredible that a thread about 3 little girls being murdered has morphed into pensioners telling us how hard they had it.

Exactly - and you could see the cops in reserve being bought forward to behind the line in anticipation of potential escalation.Haven't heard with sound tbf, but whether he deserved it or not, he wasn't really a threat so not the smartest move by the copper, it could've easily inflamed an already pent up mob and encouraged much further unnecessary disorder.
Where can I find that?Watch it from behind the police line and the footage is telling , he wasn't alone there were a handful deliberately provoking the situation as the police looked to put distance between the two groups
Great times, early 1980s. Full employment. You could leave your job on a Friday and by Monday you'd start somewhere else.
Sounds like an open invitation to Otis’s bots to prejudice the proceedings? The first of many, I would think: View attachment 37509

The Grauniad - what a surprise. In the meantime, an explainer on two-tier policing. Most of this I agree with, but what happened in Birmingham last night still didn't look right to me.
England riots: how has ‘two-tier policing’ myth become widespread?
Idea has been propagated by Tommy Robinson and others from far right but claim does not stand up to scrutinywww.theguardian.com
I know you struggle with reading but I didn't say it was the only or first time.
Hope that helps.

I have now thanks for making me aware. Equally as revolting
Be interesting when he finally gets back from "holiday".Surely Robinson is going to be charged? He's done more than anyone to stoke racial tension.
...or they were protecting mosque's, librarys, shops, community centres, and hotels from the chavvy fcukwits that are utterly braindead! They were probably having tea and cakes on the local hospital car park,
I'm sure the brave patriot will be stirring his hate from Spain/Cyprus or where wherever he lays his racist hat. Won't be in the UK though.Be interesting when he finally gets back from "holiday".
