If you ever bother to go there you will find that it is called both Derry and Londonderry. The locals seem to manage quite well with this.
I have been there which is how I know.
Well the drug dealers promising hope and delivering lies, broken promises and misery always target the young
What fucking drug dealers do you know?
They don't skulk about in trench coats lined with bags of dope you know.
Get.Help. Seriously
Is Christmas Dan, the same as Christmas Day, but with a smile on your face and a spliffnot until Christmas Dan, you've got loads of time to gen up on who to vote for.
The comparison is entirely appropriate. The socialist anti growth economic strategy that Corbynomics is advocating will do exactly that. The promises are wide ranging - the reality will be economic and social meltdown beyond anyones worst nightmares
Oh ! sorry mate, I think you've stumbled into the wrong place, it's the FAR right I thinkWhen the tories win the left wing scum will be back out protesting in our citiies on Friday smashing windows assaulting police anyway
Just the way they like to do things they don't really want power they wouldn't know what to do !!
What people considered them, and what they actually were are two very different things, history willNope. Mr Corbyn in the 80's along with McDonnell were considered nut jobs. Galloway type nutters.
You can try and rewrite history all you want but the fact is they were pro IRA, openly supported violent a finite against the British government and its only as they find themselves where they are that they are attempting to change what they once were. They didn't want peace they wanted war and agreed with the approach of the IRA
McDonnell was appalled at the peace process
What people considered them, and what they actually were are two very different things, history will
Dictate their true worth
There are many reasons to Vote Labour,Well, here we are on the eve of the General Election and I haven't got a clue who to vote for or even whether to vote at all.
Whilst historically leaning to the right, I'm not at all taken with the arrogance that seems to have enveloped the Conservative party. Last time round I had a visit from the defending Conservative MP who must have been sweating on the outcome. As it turned out, he got elected by a 7% majority (including my vote), but we haven't seen anything of him this time. Maybe he is quietly confident - although I don't know why - and resources have been diverted elsewhere? Just a tacky A4 leaflet shoved through the door, similar in style to the Liberal Democrats and Greens.
As for Labour, their canvassing has been very organised and at least they have tried to engage on the doorstep. I have warmed to the theme of 'for the many, not the few' but am very dubious of the leadership qualities at national level of Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott and Thornberry and how it would all be paid for. They're on a par with the champagne socialism practicised by the obnoxious Blair, whilst sharing the ability to bankrupt the country in the process.
So is it a vote for the have it alls, the want it alls or the never will haves? Not an inspiring choice at all.
Why is it that another persons opinion has become "far right" or "far left" not every person that votes to the right is a Nazi and not every person the votes to the left is a communist, these are playground political attitudes, perpetuated by half wits who lack the brain power to have a honest, respectful debateOh ! sorry mate, I think you've stumbled into the wrong place, it's the FAR right I think
You're looking for, not sure their tentacles of doom reach that far.
Having said that though, I don't think there's many depths they won't plumb.
There are many reasons not to vote Labour. There are many reasons not to vote Tory. There is nobody worth voting for. There are many reasons to Vote Labour,
There are more reasons not to vote Tory.
But If one reason can sway you, let it be your NHS.Vote labour for your children's welfare.
Have you even heard his apology, ha ha, thought not.Did Mr McDonnell say the quote in my signature - yes or no? If no why has he issued an apology for saying it. McDonnell opposed the Good Friday agreement
'Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell's pious homilies to the peace process will not wash. They wanted the IRA to win' - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk
. Have you not been watching the debates?
/QUOTE]
If the PM can't be arsed, why the Fuck should I be.
He met Gerry Adams, he met Martin McGuinnes, he attended Socialist rallies, that is theIf everything said about Corbyn was false he would easily be able to stop it and become very rich through damages. Now it is all down to damage limitation. And people fall for it.
I think it was his referring to the likes of me as "Left Wing Scum" and saying we wouldWhy is it that another persons opinion has become "far right" or "far left" not every person that votes to the right is a Nazi and not every person the votes to the left is a communist, these are playground political attitudes, perpetuated by half wits who lack the brain power to have a honest, respectful debate
Yet you ignore comments made by him.He met Gerry Adams, he met Martin McGuinnes, he attended Socialist rallies, that is the
Truth, do you think he was meeting them in NI because he wanted to congratulate them
On their latest bombing campaign.
Do you think he was a bloodthirsty murderer (friend of) that rejoiced in the death of
innocent people,
Or do you think he's a man with ideas and ideals, a man who will seek out peace whatever
It takes, the carrot will get you further than the stick........eventually.
Mate, she ain't said nothing about Brexit, same as she's said nothing about anything else,Only PM by default. She has never been voted in. It seems as though the only thing she feels confident about is talking about Brexit. And she voted against it.
People are waking up.

Haven't heard a single policy, never mind.have one explained, they've nothing to say, zilch,
Even the press are a bit worried 'you can tell" whatever happens tomorrow 'I don't care'
People are waking up.
So what happened back then has gad no impact on today's voting generation's attitude or way of life? Neither did the 2nd world war I suppose? You are bonkers - many voting now never even had the vote then
If you get the chance before voting folks...read this

At least your consistent in making things up to suit your argument no matter what the subject matterMore like family time is more important than having people chat shit telling me how good Corbyn is. Yes he has continually refused to condemn those he called brave. He continued to change the subject. Have you not been watching the debates?
If anyone didn't have a clue about him and read this thread they would think he is the best Labour leader for generations. He doesn't have any faults because others have done similar things. That makes him the perfect leader. I have asked a few times about the other Labour strong MP"s that would join him in a government. Totally got ignored.
I look forward to coming back to this thread on Friday when it goes into meltdown if Labour don't win. Just like the Brexit one. I didn't vote for Brexit just like I won't be voting Conservative. But some people just don't want to look further than their nose when it is a lifelong belief or something that is a benefit for themself.
Goodnight and enjoy the next day or two.

In fairness to him he is coming from a similar angle to me, doesn't really have a viewpoint on who is best and thinks they're all shit.
Whilst it is very insightful and there is a a lot of good debate here, it's a bit full on in this thread if you aren't voting labour.
I don't mean that in a nasty way at all.
Nonsense. It's just the ludicrous claims thrown out by certain posters expecting a bite from them... get a bite.In fairness to him he is coming from a similar angle to me, doesn't really have a viewpoint on who is best and thinks they're all shit.
