Liverpool should have doe what United did with Giggs and looked after him so he didn't leave. I cannot see Gerrard at a different club and wouldn't be right for their fans but I suppose money rules!
The player who is/was best at making a difference to his team, he played in some average teams and dragged them up to high quality. He was for me just about the best player in the prem since it started and is Liverpool's best ever player.
