They always have been. 'State sponsored' local radio. Shit playlist, shit everything. Gave up tuning in a long time ago.Linell and eakin defending pressley and sisu like their lives depended on it.......joke presenters
I think he game plan is actually hope for a lucky break to score and then cross his fingers for the rest of the match.
Pressley come in for some abuse at FT by the sounds of it. I didn't stay around to see it tbh. Once the whistle went, We left.
Why CWR are saying we were in control of a game with the shots statistics (they mean 'we were winning'), I'll never know. The transfer activity (or lack of) will be the make or break for me this season (the lack of goals combined with the lack of creativity is the key bit for me - unless we solve that, we are in deep trouble, and heading for a dice with L2)
It was a crap squad at the start of the season and it's a crap squad now. and still there are mugs on here who say it's a squad good enough to reach the play offs.
The good news though is that there's still £3m from the CW sale and I'm sure the ambitious owners will invest for a real promotion push in the second half of the season.
Is this CJ off here on the phone in now?
The players are good enough, the team is not.
What was the atmosphere like in the stands SW?
Using the penalty as an excuse, what about the other 2 goals Clive?
All very well saying 'sack the manager' again...'sisu have to act'...etc
Sisu have 'acted' (in respect of replacing managers) 8 times in 7 years (if you count caretakers). And oh look, we're near the bottom of league 1. Hasn't worked has it.
Maybe someday everyone will realise that maybe it's not the ability of the managers employed necessarily but the unwillingness of the owners to fund a squad capable of going up...
Robins was only one who went off his own accord, had highest win ratio, and the team he did well with has now been dismantled for the sake of cost cutting (or FFP as Fisher keeps reminding us of).
And before anyone mentions revenue streams and not owning the stadium, they knew that when they took over.
We should be too strong for them. A city win and acceptance of a bad day at office last week.
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh. Can't have logical points like that.

It don't matter to the Rock that he can't defend properly, all the Rock cares about is keeping Pressley safe.
Excellent use of his new name
Even so, we should be doing better this season with the squad we've got/had. Poor decisions by the manager have undoubtedly exacerbated the situation. Football is littered with examples of good managers getting players to over-achieve by being superbly organised and motivated-look at the transformation at Palace last season when Pulis took over! Blackpool's promotion under Holloway, Yeovil's promotion under Johnson...Coventry City's FA Cup win under Sillett!
Good managers win matches by being tactically astute and proactive, rather than reactive as Pressley is. The fan in the stands can see things that he refuses to acknowledge. Sorry, Pressley bears a fair level of responsibility for where we are.

Willis sounds like he doesn't give a shit.
Willis sounds like he doesn't give a shit.
Look at Robins at Scunthorpe too.
It is all well and good people going on about investment etc but surely the best managers get the best out of the team they have with the best system to suit the players?
That's pretty much what I've always thought that a good manager does! Even a decent manager can organise and motivate to a certain extent. I think Pressley came in with the shouty approach, it worked for a bit as the players did need a kick up the arse and he had some quality players still, but that can only get a response and paper over tactical failings for so long.
What's he saying?
Why would the players care though, their manager is watching a game where they all perform like Messi and Ronaldo week in week out!
I was half expecting him when asked did you see that coming with 10 minutes left to answer errmm.. yea I did actually, I was expecting it tbh.
Frantic defending of Pressley by Eakin and Linnell now! It's obvious that Clive also reads on here and doesn't like the majority view of the manager.
