Goals from set pieces (1 Viewer)

I know there's been a few posts here and there about us not getting many pens and also missing pens this year, but just wondered, have we scored directly from a free kick this season?

I can't recall any at all.

Yeah it took a massive deflection. Think it was still classed as his rather than an OG.

Thought when Ward arrived his set pieces would help us. But unfortunately they seem to have been trained out of him. We have a habit of doing that to players!

Yeah, how many corners did we have on Saturday? He seemed to do all sorts of actions with his arms, but all of the corners looked the same.

what i don't get is if we don't have a brilliant set piece taker, why don't we just take the Garry Mcallister dink the ball in approach.... The ball hanging in the air for a while gives the advantage to the attacker rather than the goalie or defenders! and oo yeah you have Reda there who can head a ball......

otherwise a corner to us is just like the other team having a goal kick!

We scored a free kick against oldham...was that the Maddison Goal?..(we lost 4-1 on a freezing miserable Tuesday night..it was godawful...worst decision this season of an away journey)

Probably the only performance this season worse than Saturday's.

Yeah I never get this...nothing more frustrating than a corner not beating the first man. Surely you're better off just floating it in there that you are trying to do some fancy "whip" or whatever. I could float 9 out of 10 into the box I reckon so I'm sure the professionals can

The only thing we have specialists in is giving the ball away.
