The same thing was said last season. That's the only positive, if we can get him ready for 22/23 season he can have a decent crack.
One more long term injury though, it reaches the point of should we get someone else in? (I don't want MG to leave us)
It's 15% of the season, he'll have ended up playing in about 50%, the same as last seasonEnd of season always sounds worse this time of year - it's six games.
Sky Blues striker Matty Godden looks set to miss the rest of the season, after scans have come back showing the 30 year-old has suffered a calf tear.
Matty picked up the knock during the 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers and whilst immediate thoughts were that the striker would return this weekend, that has now been squashed.
Just looked at some stats since he’s been here and compared them against Hyam. It's 15% of the season, he'll have ended up playing in about 50%, the same as last season
Good chance he will move on in summer , probably on a loan deal to enable club to recoup some wages to utilise elsewhereWhy is he unhappy? From not playing or for other reasons? I'm hopeful that his boyhood club might have a look at him this summer
Too much holding farts in, in the changing room or on the coach lol.Strange though, they are not recurring injuries. Groin, foot, now calf. The appendix was just an unfortunate one-off
I’d like Weimann here next season, not sure on wages or his contract situation though.
He seems to not be out injured much!!
Is that a fair comparison? Strikers tend to do a lot more twisting and turning…and running around generally. Therefore I’d say they’re bound to pick up more injuries?Just looked at some stats since he’s been here and compared them against Hyam.
19/20 played 59% of minutes available Hyam played 71%
20/21 played 34.9% minutes available Hyam played 91.8%
this season 42.6% minutes available Hyam 88.5%.
Realise striker will be substituted far more often than a defender but Hyam has nearly played as many minutes this season that Godden has done in the last two.
Frightening really how often Goddens out but also shows if we could keep him fit what he could actually achieve.
Harry! I think the big boys will come sniffing around Gyokores personally! Scoring 15 goals in a weakened Championship team is remarkable just think what he could do with a premiership club or one of the relegated Premiership teams. My bet is that those scavengers Norwich will be hanging around like a bad smell. They might have a left wing back they could offer as partial payment LOL! We could get 10 to 12 mill for him.Hasn't he scored 15-17 goals this season? Suspect he would cost too much (wages against what rivals can offer), and with those we have on our books we wouldn't be able to afford him. Only way we will get an established forward in is if Gyo is sold (and i'm not wanting that !)
Edit: if Waghorn is moved on, as per @Skybluebeliever , then maybe that would give us more wriggle room,
Disappointing signing looks past it nowGood chance he will move on in summer , probably on a loan deal to enable club to recoup some wages to utilise elsewhere

What's your secret at Nottingham Forest to keep your players fit?Strange though, they are not recurring injuries. Groin, foot, now calf. The appendix was just an unfortunate one-off
Up to now walker was bought for the same role and proved only as a back up to Matty and looked like a poor replacement.
Will robins stick or twist with walker ?
We’ll if Pompey don’t keep him has to be a doubt he will return as a squad member for a season unless someone else comes in for him loan or permanent.Up to now walker was bought for the same role and proved only as a back up to Matty and looked like a poor replacement.

Not pulled up many trees there but he played yesterday no goals though,
Really don't know the answer with WalkerHe’s getting a lot of stick from Pompey fans too which won’t be helping his already fragile confidence. Fair to say it’s been a disaster for both clubs
