Yeah, they didn't play together as much as I assumed they had. Some previous experience together is better than none though. Both are creative and bring other players into the game well. Reasons to be optimistic about that pairing I think.From what I can gather: Walker played ten games on loan between August and when he went back in Jan and scored 3 with 1 assist. He seems to have been injured for most of October and November though

First game together Walker scored two and Godden one. Playing 442.

A quick check shows Godden scored 20 goals that season, 16/17 at Stevenage. A young Walker got 3 in 8 appearances. So not Shearer and Sutton, but hopefully know each other's games a bit.
