2-0 down with 10 minutes to go earlier against Hungary but equalised with 14 seconds Left on the clock to secure their second successive World Championship gold medal (the first team ever to do it). It also meant they are promoted to the highest tier so are now in the same division as the likes of USA, Russia, Sweden, Germany and Canada. Can’t believe it. Never thought I’d see the day!

Been an amazing week, even without considering they were expected to be battling relegation.

Team is due back at the SkyDome at around 4pm today.
