ccfc are really screwed , the disaster of a club riddled with issues , he is the only one to blame
Tim if your reading this please do the right thing for the Club your out of you depth
I'm not sure, he could still do the break even stuff that sisu want but go about it different and have a much better outcome while still keeping it break even etc.
so you think if he goes our problems will be solved?
Fisher is a tosser but if he goes I've no doubt he will be replaced by someone of a similar ilk. having said that, I'd like to see him go because I don't like the c**t but I doubt it would change anything.
So they wanted him to loose £60M ?he's doing the job they want, it's not what we want, but what we want and sisu want are a million miles apart.
So who is the real source of our problems? There has been 9 years of mismanagement and leadership. Wasn't there a sort of announcement some years ago that Seppala was getting more hands on? Didn't she suggest she had not wanted to invest and trusted others?
The organisation Coventry City FC will continue to fail until we get some dynamic leadership from the top. In my experience of business if you set out to break even you will make a loss. There are also times you need a positive injection of investment to get off your knees. Once you start blaming others for your market position you are sunk.
Better outcome for who?
They are not entirely blameless though are they, on field issues aside, they are trying to derail our local talent by taking our academy away from us!Please don't be blaming Wasps for Fishers performance , I know you have a bit of an anti-Wasp crusade which is fair enough but they weren't around when the Northampton decision was made and if it hadn't been made Wasps probably wouldn't be here now !!
Or are they just making sure their club has a suitable training centre in their new hometown? They are not entirely blameless though are they, on field issues aside, they are trying to derail our local talent by taking our academy away from us!
At the detriment, again, to us!Or are they just making sure their club has a suitable training centre in their new hometown?
Have they actually said they want us out?At the detriment, again, to us!
To stay there on their terms. Thats much easier for them than building their own "kicking barn" whatever the fuck that is?? 18 sites identified in the city and they choose to kick us out rather than build their own custom made place.Have they actually said they want us out?
I thought there was scope to still stay there with use of the kicking barn and pitches.
It seems easier for us to be a victim rather than sorting it out.

Maybe your right, but it sticks in the back of the throat as an attack on our production line of talent. You need to get past this.
As at the Ricoh there is room for both.
Let Wasps pay for everything and just use the facilities at minimum cost.
Problem is that Wasps are unlikely to bother too much if we are always fighting not negotiating.

Lets get this clear: Wasps are hurting Coventry City by their actions you are saying? At the detriment, again, to us!
I think your right in both statementsLets get this clear: Wasps are hurting Coventry City by their actions you are saying?
I think that our owners are hurting Coventry City just about enough without any extra assistance!
There won't be room for both unless our academy kids are going to play underwater. The pool, supposedly nothing to do with Wasps but has rugby facilities in the plans, will see the removal of the indoor pitch, a key academy requirement and Wasps are taking outdoor pitches for their sole use.You need to get past this.

Thats what i was trying to say. There won't be room for both unless our academy kids are going to play underwater. Let Wasps pay for everything? There's nothing that needs paying for, all the facilities required for the academy were put in place when they academy was built for the football club.
As for minimum cost that's what we get now. Wasps have proposed we can use the 'kicking barn' when they don't need it if we pay a full commercial rate. Given that we will likely also need a second site to maintain the level of facilities that means the cost of running the academy will significantly increase.
One question. Why when Wasps had 18 suitable sites, including the one there are currently using which RBC have said could easily be a permanent facility, did they move into the only site that would negatively impact CCFC?
They claimed in the CT it was because it is in the city centre and close to the Ricoh, neither of which are true.
But it doesn't have to be one or the other does it? Up until the point Wasps showed up everything our current owners had done could be relatively easily reversed by new owners. And we still had a half decent chance of attracting new owners. You can't say the same now. A new owner needs to fund a new ground and new training facilities.Lets get this clear: Wasps are hurting Coventry City by their actions you are saying?

Again you need to get over this. There won't be room for both unless our academy kids are going to play underwater. Ignoring the reality of the situation is not getting over it.Again you need to get over this.
Can't just keep moaning about it.Ignoring the reality of the situation is not getting over it.
Can't just keep moaning about it.
At some point you need to accept where we are and look for the best solution.
Moan where we can change things. That's like saying we shouldn't moan about SISU and just accept where we are. Unbelievable.
Moan where we can change things.
They haven't got a lot of choice:The local radio then pronounce in pompous tones that they have to present a balanced view;
So they wanted him to loose £60M ?
..... and he does all this for no pay.
I smell a rat.
