Apparently interested in him from CSKA Sofia.


Coventry and Bolton are reportedly interested in CSKA-Sofia attacking midfielder Graham Carey. Scottish side Dundee United are also after him...

To me, Carey was among last season’s best players in the Bulgarian league. Would be a big loss for CSKA

Do we really need another player there? O'Hare, Hilssner, Shipley, Allen all have that as their preferred position Jones, Jobello (and technically Kastaneer) will have to probably be looking to adapt to it if they want a look in. And that's without even looking into the U23's for who would be looking to progress.

Highly doubt this one - he’s 31 years old and I think we’d only be interested in players of that age if they significantly improved the team

We already have Shipley, Hilsner, Bapaga and Jones to play in his position, not to mention Randell Williams who you have also tipped up for a move to us. Seems a very unlikely transfer to me.

Excellent lower league player - wonderful delivery from open play & set pieces but he's not for the Championship imo. Couple that with it being the position we already have the most depth in & I can't see any truth in this.

Remember though that Hillsner is useless and rubbish and trash and a waste of space and is going to spend his 3 year contract in the u23s.

Was excellent for Plymouth in League One and still performing well over in Bulgaria by all accounts, but the link is a bit bizarre and as the above poster has said, reeks of lazy journalism. You know someone's got their wires crossed when they're reporting that a League Two club and a Championship club are linked with the same player. Plus, it doesn't even make sense for us to go after Carey at this point. Would've been a great signing last time around when we were previously linked but we're already stacked with quality players in his position, and in terms of potential incomings, other positions still need prioritising.
