I went to the 2nd leg at Upton Park ,for the only time in my lifetime I got frisked by coppers wearing West Ham badges on their uniforms....was entertaining in the ground TBF

Me too. Dad took me out of school and my form teacher found out the next day. He phoned my Dad and said he was a Baggies season ticket holder and had to miss games for school commitments so it wasn't acceptable to miss school for the game. Given the score I couldn't have cared less at that stage.
