Bit of a different profile to Hamer & you'd be right in your assessment about him being less progressive but I think that could come in time. He's more of a ball carrier than Hamer though.

I like this little assessment, think it sums Bird up pretty well.

Either way, can't see him being allowed to leave Derby on the cheap given his enormous potential so think it's probably a non-starter.

Cheers! Looks to be more of a Sheaf type to me than Hamer and agree probably couldn't afford him. I do think we will spend maybe a million though on a replacement for Gus

I have spoken to Gus tonight on the phone and asked if he was staying...he said yes and is very happy here obviously depends on if the club want to cash in on him I guess

They’re a deluded bunch. Whilst I was looking for Gregg’s latest nuggets on ‘ready to go down’ I stumbled upon a thread where they believed they could gazump Everton and Southampton for Harry Winks!

Surprised they haven't roped Netflix in for another season.

Hopefully they head straight back down, with a sign of things to come on Sunday cannot wait
