I paid £8.20 for a pie an a pint, sure the pie was £4.20. Seems a lot, nut at least it came in a nice cardboard box with a CCFC sticker on it.
Ever get the feeling you're
A. Being taken for a mug
B. Being disrespected
C. Being priced out
D. All of the above
It's that money spinner called a captive audience. A business model coming to every element of life they can embed it in.
Airports, M-way services, entertainment events...do theme parks allow picnics in these days? They pass it off as Security or Health & Safety...oh - but them raking in the cash is just an unfortunate side effect.

Walked past and saw Fish and chips was about £6.20, with a drink I think it was about £8.60
I am sure it wasn't that expensive before?
So what, is it any different from an earlier thread where people were taking the piss out of someone for moaning about a quid. It's only a bit more than before so what's the problem?
Funny thing is you're one of the first when someone has a stupid moan about something to do with the club
Surely its down to the catering contractor Nick? Although the clubd 15% will rise accordingly, id rather eat before the game and always I partake of a couple of pints of Heineken in the casino pre match, nice cold pint and very much cheaper than the swill the contactors serve anyhowI was asking as I wasn't sure if it had or not. I thought about it at the time then I saw a post in another thread about it...
If I am not happy with the price I just won't buy itIt could well be down to the club wanting more profit making it go up...
It was the first home game, so I asked. Simple really
I always take food in to most places, always do at football unless I am in a mega rush and dont have time.
Never had an issue with city games to be fair. They look in the bag and that's it.Looking at that FAQ link about tickets that you posted on another thread Nick, you're not allowed to bring your own food and drink to Wasps games!
Why would you buy fish and chips in a football ground anyway? Or any other food for that matter. There are plenty of chippys near the ground.

You have a choice. Buy the food and pay the money, or go for a whole 2 hours without eating
