Haskell flies in to the UK Saturday morning on his private jet and will make his way straight to the stadium with friends and business associates who are the guests of former vice-chairman Gary Hoffman and suspended life president Joe Elliott, who have been seeking a major investor to take over the club for the last two years.

What does that say to you Grenduffy?
Said it before and I'll say it again. You've got more twists and turns than the Monaco Grand Prix!....You backtrack and turn statements to suit yourself don't Ya!
You said there is "Nobody out there" and "Hoffman won't be coming back on a white charger" you go sheepish with your statements, yet still try sarcasm with everyone who disagrees with you!....You were well out of order with your KKK remark to Valiant15
Banter is one thing but that's well OTT!
@ SkyblueBazza....This enough proof for you?
American property tycoon Preston Haskell IV was back at the Ricoh Arena today, keen to make his presence felt and press ahead with plans to take over Coventry City and half of the stadium.
The 46-year-old multi-millionaire has confirmed to the Telegraph that he has written to the administrator of CCFC Ltd, Paul Appleton, expressing an interest in acquiring the football club as soon as possible.

It says plenty but not that he has been identified by Hoffman. Fairly obvious though if you fancy a bit of attention and a day out to call those two. Will keys and ranson join them as well?
I'm not backtracking. You're trumpeting Haskell as if it's already a done deal and he's bought loads of players. He hasn't yet. Things could go awry, so I think a little caution is necessary. I don't think there is ONE person on here who doesn't want new owners, not one...
Not sticking up for Sisu, but attendances were already falling after the initial boost from moving to the Ricoh.
Re: 10k fans in League One....doesn't that say as much about our poor support as it does about sisu's poor stewardship?
Sheff Utd (c18k), Wednesday (c21k), Huddlesfield (c14-16k), forest (c20-28k), Norwich (c24.5k), Southampton (c20-22k), Leeds (c24.8k), Swansea (c13.5k), Leicester(c20k), charlton (c17.5k) and even Portsmouth this season (c12k) have all averaged higher gates than us in the third tier in the last 10 years.
@ Torchomatic...
If, by your last post...."If the boot fits" you are calling me a racist,( This is how it comes across to me), I would be very careful if I were you!
Stu they've been here 6 years. Lets look at the figures
07-08 - 19k
08-09 - 17k
09-10 - 17k
10-11 - 16k
11-12 - 14k
See the trend?
8,000 fans lost since there control. Pretty sums up there tenure
It's in reference to Valiant.
What are you talking about? Can you not read? I said "Lastly, regarding my remark to V15. He's a racist, so if the boot fits..."
So, not I wasn't calling YOU a racist at all. I think my sentence made that more than clear so not sure why you made an issue of it.
It's in reference to Valiant.
Haskell is flying in on his private jet today to watch the game this afternoon mate
Don't think it was Elliott or Hoffman who brought sisu to the club but might be wrong. At the time we were a basket case up for grabs and sisu were looking to get hold of a club for some time.
Elliott was definitely involved. Not entirely certain about Hoffman
Hope that Elliott remembered to put his "ticking clock" back an hour last weekend, though putting it back about 15 years would possibly be better.
The bid will come from Hoff and Elliot... 4th being main backer... depends where golden share is
Dhinsa was a narcissist(Think that's how it's spelt) Grenduffy won't let facts get in the way though!....He prefers "Estimated ones"
@ Grenduffy...
I don't need excuses to satisfy your whims about going to the Ricoh. Yaaawwwnnnnnn. I travel to away games, of which I have missed two(2)
There again, you already know this, as does everyone on this forum. I have also stated (This is the last time of telling you) When SISU have finally gone from the City, is when I come back to watching games at the Ricoh. As I've said before, I've probably watched more games than a lot of CCFC supporters this season, and in doing so have probably spent hundreds of pounds more in the process. The away games have been great times this year, and I won't let pricks like you spoil it for me either!
Grenduffy says...It is clear but I think SBK struggles to understand the written word on occasions.....
I say...Is that in the same way that you find it hard to distinguish between a FACT!....and a "ESTIMATED FACT!
How much of those "hundreds of pounds" go towards saving the club you claim to love? None.
Boycotting a football club long term isn't sensible political action of any sort. It's just harmful.
Well here's a fact then. Haskell isn't buying the club. Better wipe the yolk off your head.
Well, anyone can be "interested". I could be. Let's see if it goes through and see what sort of owner he is before you start creaming.
