With no mention of loans from the Orange faced one, hav we given up hope of any loan signing? I know I hav, with ken continuously mentioning how little money we hav....

Any thoughts?

I think to have given up hope it suggests you were expecting some! So no, I haven't given up hope because there was none in the first place. It was just words again really wasn't it, short term tactic to appease the fans.

You could say have we given up on SISU leaving us and selling up. If they sell us then I can see loans coming in to strengthen our squad. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes though. We can guess and then make up more rumours. Otherwise we can keep our gobs shut and hope for the best. I am always full of hope.

Touchy! It was just a question! And you know, speculation is kind of something that happens on these boards!

I think AT only wants players who suit the system and will improve on what we have already. The club have probably had a string of offers turned down either by the paraent club or by the player. Not everybody wants to be send to Coventry!

Still more championship clubs lack money to buy players and instead depends on loans - making competition on the few available good players intense.

I can't really see it! But you never know, something might come along.... That's about all that can be said on the matter surely?

My boss told me it was Friday this morning and she was looking forwards to the win tomorrow. I had to check my diary...she was wrong. Hope that's all she was wrong about...

Yeah but we can't compete with anybody in our division, and probably not half of the division below. I'd call that a serious under-funding by the custodians of the club that anyone who knows a jot about football would label negligent. You'd have to be a saint to work for such tight-wads and not grumble, and frankly St. Thorn he is close to being in my eyes!

of course, kd has got to re-fuel his jag, paid for by 'us', even tho' he's only in england for 90 days per annum,
w.a.b.o.a.s.

Why does it make any difference how many days he spend in England?
He is chairman of the board and so not expected to be present in the boardroom more than a handfull of times a year.

Orange ken will come out in a weeks time and spin us another line of "we are leaving no stone unturned " to try and keep us happy...I don't really think the club really were trying to look for loans but thorn is doing a great job with the players at his disposal so play up sky blues!

Hi lads.
Speculation, Conjecture, and rumor, what ever would we do without it, we'd have a forum of blank pages, and nothing else, it all helps to keep the site active and thought evoking.
I mean does everything have to be factual, to be interesting.
"Lighten up"..Panarama...We Aint..
