But who from the trust board has gone to the game? Will never watch wasps personally as I wouldn't want what's happened to them to happen to us. Their owners are definitely worse than Sisu, they moved a club permanently.
As for someone who is on the board of the trust going, I'd say it's somewhat inappropriate. It's a position of responsibility whether he is a volunteer or not and for me him being there is saying he's OK with a sports club being moved away from its fans to a location 100 miles away. It gives the message he wouldn't be fussed if Coventry City did the same (not saying that is his view, just how it could be perceived). The trust seem too focussed on being anti-sisu rather than taking a wider view. Sisu are the main culprits but there are others who have not acted in the best interests of CCFC (and indeed to the detriment of).
But who from the trust board has gone to the game?
Just more bullshit to fuel whatever fridge they have against the trust.
It's ok starting a thread and running away when questions are asked, where is the link.
I think he may be worried all the fans with a CV postcode may be tempted closer to home.Heard it on the radio. Trying to steal fans I think he said. Rugby team not the football. Will try find a link
Cov v Leicester a massive game back in the day of course.I think he may be worried all the fans with a CV postcode may be tempted closer to home.
Believe there are a reasonable number in the catchment.
Let's face it Corporate wise, guests, sponsors etc won't have a tight affinity, like the average fan.
Edit ;- I should add.
If they were to lose a percentage to Wasps I'd imagine they would get replaced by Leicester folk.
Shame wasn't worried when they took all Covs supporters though was he.
Ice hockey is a franchise sport. You're OK with that.
Shame wasn't worried when they took all Covs supporters though was he.
Look who actually gives a fuck.Kind of different though. Leicester didn't move to take fans.
The difference between Northampton and wasps is people that went to Northampton were following the club they always had. Wasps New fans aren't.
Still waiting to hear who it was that actually went to this game?
I mean I don't get the parallel arguments people try and make between wasps and cov blaze as hockey has always been franchised. As in American sports. Ice Hockey is a great spectator sport. Haven't been for a few years but loved it when I went.I started to like ice hockey and discovered my home city of Coventry has a team so I started supported it
I'm ok with that, but it seems I shouldn't be ?
But I'm by no means certain, both only happened as there were vacant venues?I mean I don't get the parallel arguments people try and make between wasps and cov blaze as hockey has always been franchised. As in American sports. Ice Hockey is a great spectator sport. Haven't been for a few years but loved it when I went.
Don't support them or run for fucking election, is that all you can ever come up with when your mates get a bit of criticism? Hardly helping the trust achieve it's goal of being 'a representative voice of the supporters of the Club' is it? All that attitude is promoting is an echo chamber.Don't support them then.
No just want to know who this person is unlike you not taking it as gospel.Don't support them or run for fucking election, is that all you can ever come up with when your mates get a bit of criticism? You can see that several people on here are uncomfortable with the possibility that members of the Trust board might go to see Wasps - whether or not they have, the fact that it is even entertained as a possibility is down to the trusts previous behaviour and a lack of clarity on the stance of the trust to Wasps arrival in the city.
Its not particularly straightforward but the short version is Solihull Barons (who actually started as Birmingham Barons) went bust. A new team was started up intended to be Birmingham Blaze playing at the NEC. When that fell through they went to Solihull as Solihull Blaze.
That was only every intended as a temporary move and when the Skydome was built they moved to Coventry. A new Solihull team, also called the Barons, started up in 2000 they went bust in 2002. They were replaced by Milton Keynes Kings who were rebranded Solihull MK Kings who went bust after a year. Solihull Kings were formed in 2005 and went bust in 2007.
The current Solihull Barons was formed in 2005.
They kept telling the fanbase they were going to be in London.Didn't Wasps ask the fan Base before they moved to the Rico and the majority voted in favour?
Not my thing rugby be it Cov or Wasps. Didn't Wasps ask the fan Base before they moved to the Rico and the majority voted in favour?
By the way, anyone got an issue with me going to watch the darts?
Why would I lie? I'll let the person speak for themselves. They are a poster on here. But who from the trust board has gone to the game?
Just more bullshit to fuel whatever grudge they have against the trust.
It's ok starting a thread and running away when questions are asked, where is the link.
Well if you heard the voice you must have also been there
It matters to the "we can't have it so no one can" brigade.are city playing today if not then it doesn't matter who is where does it
Yer yer yer.Why would I lie? I'll let the person speak for themselves. They are a poster on here.

Never got the wasps thing, don't understand people who all of a sudden become died hard rugby fans but rarely went to watch cov rugby club. Same people who probably call Man Utd fans glory supporters
As for the Trust member going... whilst I can't understand why anyone would go, who gives fuck if someone from the Trust does?
