We are still waiting to see whether there will be any charges brought against police chiefs, FA and others. It looks like a very strong case for the police perverting the course of justice. At the very least pensions could be withdrawn, I would guess? Prison seems a possibility for those who failed to act. However, unlawful killing demands that somebody be held accountable and charged with manslaughter or causing death through negligence.
The CPS will then decide whether to charge any individual officers, while charges including health and safety breaches will also be considered against South Yorkshire Police, the Football Association, Sheffield Wednesday FC, Sheffield City Council, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
