The problem with football I guess is that "fans" cant see the wood for the trees. Their passion for their team cancels out a logical view of what they are seeing on the pitch. It seems even worse for us Sky Blues deprived as we are of any form of success. As a result of this every game is simply about are we going to be relegated or can we make the play offs. Its time we stopped this. I believe Robins is the man for the job and has been absolutely honest in his assesment of where we are. We are seeing the green shoots of progress. Earlier in the year (under Thorn and Shaw) the wheels had come off, and the squad were not even achieving the basics (lost more often than not on the majority of fans in the midst of the wood for the trees paradigm). Now the fundmamentals are there. We are seeing evidence of this and yesterday is that, Hartlepool have scored in most home games, and the most they have conceded at home before yesterday was 2. Hartlepool 0 CCFC 5 is an indication of progress. No need to see it as any more or less than that. We are doing the right things now, sure not for 90 minutes, but at least the ingridients are there now, where they were absent before.
