this time of the season coming up to the first friendly with less than 4 weeks to go to kick off i am usually like a kid in a sweet shop

season ticket and shirt purchased
initial away days planned

buying into the hype that this is the year, and that our latest signings are actually future England internationals who we have managed to get at a steal for £5000

All that has been taken away
i really dont give 2 hoots about this season
i will not even be going to away games - what is the point

My lover has gone off with another man, and i really dont know if i will be able to take her back in 5 years or so, as i may have moved on by then

her teeth may have dropped out by then
she may be fat and old

if she were to come back now i would forgive her despite playing with my emotions, but who knows in 5 years time
Especially if she then lives outside of my town, up a country lane with lots of men on noisy motorbikes going by flirting with her
