What do other clubs manage to do to get national coverage? Portsmouth were all over the news a few years ago . Hardly a mention beyond BBC Midlands for us.
Are other fans' groups better organised, or simply more vociferous? How can we bring our plight to the national media. Any ideas?

They blew up really quickly straight after winning the FA cup.

We just kind of slowly shat ourselves over 10 years

I've just text in to 606 to try and get some airtime but I doubt they will read it. John cross could mention us as he supported us on twitter

maybe now the telegraph have been banned from ccfc, they might, SHOULD, take the gloves off on sisu and get the weight of mirror group news papers behind the sell up campaign , or perhaps get some of the more able southern journalists to do some deeper digging on these bastards.

It's an interesting thread - I'm not sure. But we do seem to be off the radar. The slow death is probably the reason. It's taken 15 years to get here.

Just been on sports talk again. Pearce was in the studio and they had a fan call up.

As for BBC Midlands Today I'm surprised they're not all over CET-gate and training ground sale etc. They love anything doom and gloom usually!

We are unfortunately a nothing club in a nothing city.

I love the club and I love the city but if I wasn't from here I wouldn't give the place a second thought.

They fell quickly from premier league and FA cup finals, so fresh in the memories
SISU on the other hand have been behind a managed decline of this club.
Can't believe how people can't see it.

Portsmouth had the full backing of the local council - makes a huge difference.

Portsmouth and other clubs got more attention because they stopped paying players wages etc..sisu to the best of my knowledge have always paid the wages on time, stadium rent on the other hand is quite slow to be paid

The players' wages weren't paid a couple of times under the old regime circa 2005/06

I bet the media were particularly interested in Portsmouth because of Redknapp too. Club going under with him at the helm probably had the journalist sharks smelling blood. Not that he's a wheeler and dealer of course...
