From our front garden, could see the magical floodlight glow when evening matches were played, and hear the crowd roar when we scored.

I live in Longford so it was a 15 minute walk for me down the canal to get there. Highfield Road was on the other side of the city so due to my age, i couldnt go there on my own and my dad prefered to spend his time in the pub rather than with his son. So only ever went to HR 3 times
