We have some winnable fixtures coming up now, I'd say the next tough game is Swindon on 10th January. Failure to pick up points against the likes of Colchester, Walsall, Port Vale, Fleetwood, Doncaster, Chesterfield over the next month will surely see him being shown the door.
They should give him as long as it takes to get a better replacement in. No point kicking him out and being managerless only to release 4 weeks of statements "we have had lots of enquiries blah blah blah"
If he's going to go, have the replacement already lined up.
But that's the thing CCFC, madine (here for one month only), Nouble and Jackson (on paper) are good strikers, but our midfield and back four and goalkeepers are poor/average. It's a squad that had no pace, still lacks physicality on midfield, lacks some experience in the middle of the pitch, has no natural width. The squad is completely unbalanced.
I tell what robins would do if he came in today, he'd get 2 defensively strong centr mid'a and bomb the likes of Barton and fleck out, and he's pack the midfield and play one up top. Functionality over style is needed in this league.
Our last cleansheet in the league was 5 September, even with the strikers on paper we haven't got enough goals in the squad to compensate for conceding an average of nearly 2 a game.

We have neither functionality or style under Pressley, the squad is unbalanced which is Pressleys fault but its still better than a lot in this league.
We all knew Pressley couldn't set up a defence from last year so its no surprise. Our defence is performing poorly but teams like Fleetwood, Walsall, Notts County do not have significantly better quality defenders to select from. They are just better coached and well drilled, something Pressley has failed to do once in his 18 months here.
Nouble and Madine are good enough to get goals in this division, the problem at the moment is the midfield. It's so flat and pedestrian, nobody can beat a player or inject some pace and energy into the midfield. What worries is more not what we are lacking as theres room to manoeuvre in January and the loan windows but seemingly that Pressley can't see it himself so I have no confidence in him to rectify it. Coulibaly was supposedly that sorta player but didnt impress and was sent back and we didnt even attempt to sign anyone in that mould.
