I believe you are correct and clubs are only able to sell a maximum number of season tickets, and have to leave a certain % available for match day purchase.
If we go up every single game should be a sell out - anyone out there who doesnt have a season ticket will struggle to get in next season. Think it will go down as our record season attendance wise.

We averaged nearly 35,000 in our first season in the top flight in 1967/68, so we won't be beating that. Should certainly beat our highest PL average though.
