I see Huddersfield have priced tickets at £5 for their league match against Swansea, on the 15th of January. I was wondering if these types of offers increase numbers significantly, and if there's any impact on future fixtures. Would be nice to get one fixture this season with a crowd of 30k+, maybe that is the way to do it.

Knowing us, there would be 7 blocks of segregation implemented by the chief safety officer which would stifle the attendance.

They did it against Accrington in league two and it was shite. Loads of kids with their phone torches on.

We did it in the Championship against I think Colchester which is why we had 25,000 - the Gillingham game was of course £10 but it seems all a bit Wasps strategy to me
I'm thinking more along the lines of the 2014 match against Gillingham.

That was unique in that we'd come back from Northampton. No one really returned after that did they? I'm not opposed to it once a season tbh, at least gives some families chance to attend at an affordable price.
Totally agree. I think Huddersfield at home could be an idea, but may attract a significant size crowd regardless.
Costs the club a fortune. As they have sold 11000 season tickets that income has already been received so at £20 a ticket with a crowd of 20,000 they generate £180,000 income with 32000 attending at £5 generates income of £105000 and somehow I can’t see the extra 12000 people spending an additional £75,000 of f&b plus there would be additional costs in Stewards etc.
