About 500 of them yesterday which is I think the worst away following we have had this season at the CBS.
They did win the prize for the most embarrassing song though telling us our support is Fckn Shit. Embarrasing and they never sang it again after they were put in their place with come in a taxi

Was 714 , let's be honest they're having a terrible season and it's just before Christmas

I remember us taking a really poor number to Leeds away one boxing day (less than 1500), during early championship years.

That would seem unthinkable now.

Not an easy journey. About 50 of them at the back made more noise than we did until the 60th minute.

700 seems low these days where away attendances are so high across the league. We've always been blessed with having huge away followings at the CBS/Ricoh but it's been dropping this season. Too expensive for people to bring their kids.

Considering the dross they have to watch 700 is a magnificent showing from the Hull fans. 😁

We took 299 to Hull first time round in the championship

(as famously reminded at every opportunity by WestHullTiger on the GMK forum)
If thats the game where Dennis Wise scored with an overhead kick i was there, i'd have put the number even lower.

Remember the concourse being near deserted at HT and not even having to queue up to go for a pee 🤣🤣

I saw a couple of them on there trimmed up Vespa doing a lap of perimeter of Tesco's, they either had space on a coach for it or it would be pretty cold for them coming down, unless they live locally as the driver just had a short sleeved shirt on top of some other long sleeved affair, his bird was at least wearing a jacket!

714 proper football supporters.

Not sure what's to denigrate here.
Exactly. i was a regular away fan in the late 70s and the early 80s in the Division 1 days and our support was all too often dire i.e. no more than a couple of hundred. 1st time I heard the ‘taxi’ song was at Old Trafford last game of the season in 1980, sung at us. I remember going to Sunderland away in the early 80s for a 3pm KO on a Saturday and there was less than 100 of us.

Credit to anyone who travels away to support their team. To all those fans who regard our support as great, just remember it wasn't always this way.

Too expensive? Maybe Doug could be informed, he’s a proper businessman you know!

I live 10 miles west of Hull, and it’s not a nice drive down and back (although some of the 50mph limits have gone from the M1 now).

As others have said, they’re not a bad bunch of fans. Very self-deprecating, as most Hull/ East Yorks folk are. Certainly more so than anyone from West Yorkshire and Manchester.
