Obviously the fans on here supporting a mass protest in the stadium are the ones that are currently visiting sixfields for home matches !!!!
^^ Utter bollocks!!
Moving on:
The game is live on national TV....this has surely got to be seen as the next (and possibly last) chance to show our strength in depth.....
....no such show has been seen since the 5000 strong march.....since then the "protests" have been small scale & have barely made the local news, let alone national....
lets be honest...a few angry blokes on the hill way off in the distance just looks shit......the press photos etc. were embarrassing enough at the Bristol game.....it would be totally cringeworthy live on sky.
The mass exodus would have a great impact IF it was organized & supported properly....but I fear as fans we are now too divided to pull it off as some would stay, or wish to stay.....I could even forsee trouble between those wishing to leave & those wishing to stay....
So, realistically, I think we are left with 3 options.
1. Try & CONVINCE (not threaten, intimidate or childishly abuse) those that are currently attending sixfields to abstain for this particular game.....get the stadium as empty as possible.....
2. Fill the ground for a one off mass protest of noise, banners, balloons etc. & actually get noticed.....how about the SBT get 7000 mocked up "Big Issue" covers printed....
...after all, we are currently homeless & it certainly is a big issue.....and on the other side of that cover could just be plain text such as "1883-2013 RIP?" or "34 miles !!" for example....
3. Continue to become a more & more divided & disparate group of fans with a ever growing & contradictory set of messages/slogans such as NOPM, KCIC etc. which mean fuck all to anyone who is not a city fan....
Sixfields is not in Coventry and will never be at home, therefore we shouldnt care less about the state we leave it in. It would take 2 weeks of a full house completely disrupting the game and 1 of 2 things will happen. 1) NTFC kick us out for destroying sixfields. Tim fisher then has the choice of coming home or moving further away its as simple as that. If he moves us further away then we have the answers we need to the franchise concept. 2) FL order all CCFC home matches to be played behind closed doors. Then all you NOPM campaigners will get your 0 attendances. Surely this is the way to go about this
All I would add is that at least those on the Hill are trying to put a message over, the problem we have is that most City fans just sit at home and agree things should be done but in the true world fo sweet FA.
Yes I am happy...I think that's the idea of not one penny more....it'll be even more embarrassing with an empty ground in front of the sky cameras.why travel to northampton to watch the game from the hill..ITS ON SKY.I'll be in coventry watching it with sisu's money in my pocket thanks.
We don't want people getting into the habit of going to Northampton. Many of us have vowed never to set foot in their ground. The last thing we want is people deciding that, actually the journey wasn't that bad and they had a great day out.
I would go to protest on the hill, but never inside.
