Waggott On The Frustration

Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has said that he understands the frustrations of City supporters.

Writing in his programme notes for the game against Rochdale, Mr Waggott wrote: "I stopped to speak to some supporters in the car park after the Yeovil game and they certainly got one or two things off their chest and I get it.

"I know it is very little comfort when results are mixed but I hope supporters can see I want to be as open as I possibly can be with thwm whether that is one to one, at fans forums or through the media.

"The open question around the announcement of a proposed location of the new stadium is frustrating for the board and fans alike. The new location is perhaps the most important decision that will be taken during my tenure at the club and it is as frustrating for me and everyone else involved with the club that we are unable to make an announcement on this yet.

"The commercial sensitivities, at this stage anyway, mean it must remain private for now but as soon as we are able to share more information publically we will do so.

"It's vital that the club has a home to call its own and that we unite staff, players and the academy in one place to help drive Coventry City forward to a positive future."

i do not think for one minute waggott fisher and even seppala understand or even care about our frustrations at seeing our club dismantled, the smallest crowd for a saturday game yesterday for 53 years, lowest league postion for 53 years, worst team for 53 years. i could go on but whats the point they neither listen or care. The day this rabble leave will be the happiest day of my footballing life

They are all at it now

So even Waggott has jumped on the bullshit cart.
So, he can understand the fans frustration - my arse. They are all a bunch of delusional misguided creeps who wouldn't know how to tell the truth.
Coventry City fans face yet another season at the wrong end of the table, with absolutely nothing to offer any hope for next season or the season after and all they can come up with is this fantasy stadium which no-one will go to while the club is under the mismanagement of this shameful hedge fund company.
Fisher is, or even has become the most detested man ever to visit this city and we can only hope that the wicked witch sees him for what he is.
IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO WILL RID US OF THIS VERMIN.???????????????

to be honest I have given up on feeling frustrated, because you haven't made me believe it will happen. You are right in such a decision is important to the future of the club. At that juncture I will become animated again as a lifelong supporter. In the meantime I don't think you Seppala or Fisher are doing anything for the benefit of the club I have supported all my life. You have no horizon to walk towards, it is so ironic you met fans in a car park! We're they looking for where you have parked CCFC?

Understatement of the year. He, the club, Sisu and wasps can all do one.

This year had been the most depressing ever.

w,f, & s, are the biggest bullshitters ever to invade our proud city,
don't rely on cwr to ask questions,
they are scared shitless of being banned,
we, are, & have been abused,
sisu are happy that they have diluted the passion of fans,
it suits their purpose, (divide & conquer),

reduced attendances are symptomatic of the clubs controllers inability to deal with,
or, understand CCFC'S plight,
imho, not fit owners,

the challenge being to prove that is not the case,

oh, & by the way,
i just spoke with a mate who, upon reflection, said,
'well, don't trust a bullshitting geordie, he'll have 1 agenda, & that's his own'

You would have to say that for many fans he doesn't actually "get it". It has gone past frustration. It is more like disbelieving untrusting apathy towards the new ground, club and owners.

They really don't care less, their hope is to get lucky in court and then put in a huge damages claim.

They are not seeing anymore of my money.

Waggott is just towing the company stance though as with Pressley and Fisher. As I've said before these guys as loathsome as they sound are just making the statements for the real villains in their ivory tower in Hannover St.
