Hunt took one week. Why?
So, staying on the facts (as uncomfortable as you are with it)...
* There was no thread entitled 'All time worst Coventry Player.'
* I didn't say Peter Atherton was our 'All time worst Coventry player. I said, he was one of our 'Below average at best' centre backs.
Grendel, this clamor of yours is proving nothing but counter productive.
If you don't want to answer the question, just say you don't, I'll understand.
.
Which of course is bollocks.
Why weren't we a better team when he went off? Did our performances go down hill when he came on? Did we play better when he didn't play at all?
The answer to all is of course no.
Did he run the game on Saturday? Has he had more than one good game?
The answer to all is of course yes.
Boy are you going to be disappointed if he stays fit, ends up being our player of the season and because of that we go up.
I understand that now I am making a bit of an effort you are struggling - your really struggling.
The reason for lack of fitness is irrelevant - totally - and you know it.
lol ....you sure showed me
It's as relevant as asking why (you think) Hunt was fit? Is it not?
he should have not been selected until issues were ironed out.
The notion that fitness/training methods are so different nowadays compared to 10 years ago is pushing it, to be fair.

So gym equipment, computers and the resulting analysis hasn't changed in a decade?
Righto. My mistake.
Hello Grendull
What gym equipment has changed? Do you further information about the software they use?
Now you're takin' the piss.
Ingestible and wearable computer tracking, carbon nanotechnology, Fluid dynamic tracking, surgery (recovery time) advances ....
...it isn't all about laps and cones anymore. Everything is tracked, monitored and planned.
Players are expected to have specific levels of fitness via the data this technology provides.
In League One are you sure?
I hazard a guess at yes. If they're doing it in the second tier in the US, it's reasonable to assume they're doing it in the third tier in England.
A guess - OK then
You're priceless.
The question was regarding the advances in the last 10 years. Which you earlier agreed had advanced. Now you jump on board against your own opinion in order for a cheap poke at your new perceived threat.
I'm flattered.
You are about as much of a threat to me as the Krankies are to Morecombe and Wise in the comedy duo stakes
Delusional
Grendel
You're coming across as someone that genuinely thinks they own a 'dusty, damp corner of the internet'.
That's the definition of 'struggling'
.
It's been ever thus.
Let it go US, meanwhile what I'd like to know is; are you feeling the Bern?

I didn't realise that none of this technology was around in in 2006 and that clubs were still reliant on cones and laps then?!
How did ProZone work then?
With the technology of the time I assume? What a strange question. This whole thing with you claiming that technology hasn't evolved in a decade is quite bizarre.
How's the Bluetooth working on your MG Maestro ?
Obviously technology has evolved; that wasn't the point though, you claimed you cannot compare an athlete today to one 10 year ago.

* I would like to point out that I earlier suggested giving JC another year on his contract. I have now revised that though and think we should offer him a 5 year one as he is obviously one of the most superior athletes on Earth.

Bluetooth has been available on phones since 2000 and car integration well before 2006 - what the fuck are you on about?
