Having watched the dire performance we managed to muster against Worcester, my friend who's a Cheltenham fan invited me along to Whaddon Road for their 2nd round tie against Dover. Beginning to think i'm cursed as i've now seen two league sides dumped out the FA Cup at home to non-league sides in a row!
One thing that must be noted is, it is extremely scary that we are just three places above the level of Cheltenham, who i must say were dreadful. Comparing the Ricoh facilities to Whaddon Road is also like another world, although of course the Ricoh isn't ours. It also made me realise perhaps we don't have the most negative fans in football as they were equally downbeat throughout.
It might be beneficial for us though as i'm off to Bristol on Wednesday to perhaps see a third cup upset for the away team
